We are seeking a Buyer to manage procurement for various material testing laboratories, including chemistry, metallurgy, environment, civil, and special testing. The role supports global labs with sourcing, vendor development, logistics, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
Support laboratories globally with competitive sources and vendors
Develop and manage vendor relationships
Coordinate logistics for exports of materials and samples worldwide
Ensure cross-functional coordination with departments and external business communities
Manage non-moving and non-saleable materials
Supervise Purchase and Admin Coordinators

Responsibilities
Ensure work compliance with ISO 17025 requirements
Perform metallurgical failure analysis on failed metallic components and generate technical reports
Conduct mechanical tests for material property evaluation and weld procedure qualification according to ASME, API, AWS, and BS standards
