Responsibilities
-
Use techniques, spreadsheets, databases, and proprietary software to perform safety study assessments and generate project deliverable documents, including production, checking, and approval as required.

Prepare design deliverables including philosophies, reports, studies, specifications, data sheets, drawings, etc., while following all applicable operational procedures.

Coordinate and liaise with other engineering disciplines as necessary to prepare and develop deliverables, ensuring incorporation of inputs from other disciplines.

Ensure compliance with relevant specifications as well as applicable national/international regulations, codes, and standards.

Qualifications

Wood is currently hiring a Principal Proposals Engineer for our office in Qatar. This role holds overall responsibility for managing the entire proposal development process—from receiving the ITB to delivering the final submission on time.
Responsibilities

Lead preparation of the most competitive techno-commercial proposals in compliance with client requirements and technical specifications, including risk assessment.

Prepare proposal synopsis for Line Manager review, including initial technical, financial, schedule, or other risk assessments, and submit for management approval to bid or decline.

Establish and actively manage proposal schedules, budgets, bid indexes, and all bid inputs. Monitor and expedite bid preparation, identifying concerns and initiating corrective actions.

Prepare Table of Contents/Index for Technical, Un-priced, and Priced Commercial proposals with clear responsibilities and deadlines.

Prepare scope and effort matrices and coordinate inputs from affiliate offices, JV partners, and subcontractors for client submission integration.

Define initial bid strategy, obtain executive endorsement, cascade strategy and win plans to the bid team, and keep focus throughout the bid period, adjusting as needed.

دعم تنفيذ المشروع من خلال التخطيط والتوظيف وإدارة نطاقات البناء خلال مراحل الهندسة والتصميم.

قيادة مراجعات القابلية للبناء وتقديم مدخلات البناء خلال مراحل الهندسة.

تطوير استراتيجيات البناء، وخطط التنفيذ، واستراتيجيات التعاقد، وتسلسل التثبيت، وجدولة الموارد.

إعداد إجراءات موقع العمل والممارسات الخاصة بالمشروع.

المساعدة في دراسات الجدوى ودعم لوجستيات المشروع، خاصة للأحمال الثقيلة والكبيرة الحجم.
المؤهلات
-
درجة هندسية مع خبرة لا تقل عن 15 سنة في المجال، منها 5 سنوات في هندسة التفكيك.

سجل قوي في تنفيذ مشاريع البناء والتفكيك في مجال النفط والغاز طوال دورة حياة المشروع، خاصة في مرحلتي ما قبل التصميم التفصيلي (Pre-FEED) والتصميم التفصيلي (FEED).

خبرة أساسية في العمل البحري (Offshore).

مهارات تواصل فعالة على جميع المستويات والثقافات.

مهارات قيادية قوية: القدرة على تحفيز وتطوير الفرق في بيئات تحديّة.

قدرة على اتخاذ القرارات وتحفيز عمليات صنع القرار.

معرفة بالتشريعات والرموز والمعايير ذات الصلة، وخبرة في إدارة المقاولين.
