IT Security Support Technician
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform vulnerability management of systems and networks
Carry out risk assessment and reporting of mitigation plans, Collaborate with IT and development teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities
Track and report on remediation progress and risk mitigation
Support compliance efforts in accordance with national guidance
Creating baseline security procedures
Reviewing system and network security and configurations whenever respective teams and provide guidance
Triage and investigate security incidents and escalate as needed in collaboration with MSSP
Perform root cause analysis and document findings in collaboration with MSSP
Respond to phishing, malware, and intrusion attempts
Review the logs and work with the teams on suspicious alerts
Collaborate with other teams during incident response and recovery
Maintain incident response playbooks and documentation
Desired Candidate Profile
Expected experience of 3 to 5 years in IT Security with Good knowledge of the Microsoft Defender, SIEM and Vulnerability Management.
Good Knowledge of IT security, controls & Network infrastructure.
Hands-on working experience on technologies like Nessus, Qualys, Microsoft Defender and Sentinel.
Good understanding of vulnerability and the patch management process.
Good reporting and communication skills.
Certifications like ISO 27001 ISMS implementer or lead auditor CompTIA security +CISA CEH would be good to have.
