2. Senior Resource Manager

The primary responsibility of the Resource Manager focuses on developing competitive strategies to effectively hire, retain, develop, train, & assign skilled Field Service Engineers based on customer requirements, all within our Industrial Energy Technology services business (IET). The Resource Manager will work closely with Service Managers, the Outage Excellence team, Assignment planners, regional teams, COEs, HR and recruitment teams to accomplish these objectives.

As a Senior Resource Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Attending weekly, daily, and Monthly review calls with the extended team (Planners, Service Managers, Outage Excellence, etc) to support outage planning, ensure the timely fulfilment of resources on the required work scopes and establish a 1-year plan for his/her team.
  • Managing closely His / her team of Field Engineers, solving individual and team issues promptly, all by the company's policy & Procedures.
  • Verifying FSE’s readiness for execution of assigned tasks. 
  • Ensuring the right skills and necessary knowledge for the regional resource pool is maintained to support industry standards and customer requests.
  • Maximising FSE utilisation and their assigned hours to achieve and exceed the annual planned target.
  • Minimising bench time cost & establishing contingency planning for the team to drive effective utilisation. 
  • Complying with Field Policies & Procedures while ensuring adoption of the same with his/her team.
  • Coordinating and facilitating career path planning and progression of His/her Field Service Engineers.
  • Assigning training programs to meet regional demand and developing the team’s technical capabilities (Multiskilling).
  • Collaborating with immigration & execution teams to ensure successful site mobilisations, logistics support and timely fulfilment of customer needs (Visas, gate pass readiness, site training, etc).

  • Have a Bachelor’s Engineering degree with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of industry experience.
  • Have hands-on Resource Management role or Project Management Experience, or Operations Management (Site Leadership experience is a preference)
  • Having industry certifications in project management, HR or technical disciplines is desired.
  • Have Technical Knowledge on Gas turbine and/or rotating equipment (Preferable).

3. Field Service Engineer - Mechanical Heavy Duty Gas Turbine

As a Field Service Engineer - Mechanical Heavy Duty Gas Turbine, you will advise and counsel for pre-defined maintenance activities. To the extent specified during the performance of work, such service may also include testing, adjustment, programming and other similar services as agreed upon with the Headquarter Technical assistance team.

As a Field Service Engineer - Mechanical Heavy Duty Gas Turbine, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling mechanical Inspection of the gas turbine's major auxiliaries as per GE recommended procedures (e.g. level inspection, GG swap etc.)
  • Handling Pre-commissioning and commissioning of oil system, starting system, fuel gas system, air system
  • Assisting Buyer with regular reviews of maintenance activity
  • Discussing any mechanical-related NICs/TILs to the Buyer; plan agreed upon implementation of any recommendations.
  • Responding to the Buyer's technical inquiries utilizing GE technical support services.
  • Maintaining a documented history of all mechanical modifications for the Covered Units.
  • Supporting Buyer's operation & maintenance staff with diagnostics counselling and addressing maintenance /operational issues on Covered Units.
  • Providing on-the-job training of Buyers operation & maintenance staff at no additional cost to the Buyer. For this Section, "on-the-job training" shall mean training performed by ME during the day-by-day activities without the requirement of additional resources, tools, trainers, equipment and certificate Seller.
  • Preparing in concurrence with the Customer detailed work scope for each agreed Outage. For each outage, he/she shall indicate recommended FSEs and Manpower crews. For all Control aspects of outages, the Unit Control Panel Engineer that makes part of the team will advise.
  • Performing Equipment start-up, diagnostic and troubleshooting
  • Performing Water wash procedure
  • Performing lube oil and cooling water systems flushes as per recommended procedures
  • Performing Pre-commissioning and commissioning of oil system, starting system, fuel gas system, air system
  • Advising on the interpretation of drawings for installation optimization
  • Working closely with the Instrumentation Engineer during the Maintenance/installation, calibration and set-up of electrical instrumentation (such as vibration probes, temperature elements, servo actuators calibration, etc)
  • Marking up all piping drawings to show piping modifications
  • Unloading and Inspection of the gas turbine major auxiliaries at the installation site and their placement on the foundation
  • Performing geometric dimensional check of foundation, equipment and auxiliaries’ skids positioning, levelling (ensure levelness and elevations of sub-sole plates and perform contact checks between sub-sole plates and package supports) and alignment

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • Have more than 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas/ Power/ Refinery/ Turbomachinery industries.
  • Be able to perform major Inspections and overhauling of HDGT – Frame 7 and/or Frame 9E.
  • Be able to perform Laser Alignments & Borescope inspection on all machines.

4. Wireline Field Specialist III

As a Wireline Field Specialist III, you will be providing wellsite support and guidance to our global customers. You will have the opportunity to solve interesting and complex problems while utilizing the latest technology

As a Wireline Field Specialist III, you will be responsible for:

  • Working under minimal supervision on day-to-day work by following instructions on wellsite activity.
  • Evaluating work upon completion to ensure objectives have been met
  • Assisting in providing completions logging and completions services at the workshop and wellsite
  • Carrying out minor maintenance of equipment and assisting in actuating the completions equipment.

  • Have a bachelor's degree in engineering discipline with 3 years of experience in Wireline Services
  • Have worked with Baker Hughes for atleast 2 years
  • Have experience in offshore is preferred
  • Have Open Hole / Cased Hole experience
  • Have Industry knowledge and product line training required

5. Wireline Field Specialist - General
