1. Senior Wet Utlity Design Engineer

Bilfinger Tebodin is looking for Senior Wet Utilities Engineers with 8+ years of experience in the design of wet utilities, including gravity and pressurized networks (potable water, wastewater, stormwater, and irrigation/TSE). Experience working with consultancy firms is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in wet utilities design within the Gulf region, with strong familiarity with Qatar standards and authority requirements (Ashghal,etc.).
- Experience in preparing and coordinating the full lifecycle of design documentation, including Master Plans, Feasibility Studies, Concept Design, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, and Tender Documents, ensuring alignment with project objectives and authority requirements.
- Design of wastewater networks, including preparation of design reports, hydraulic modelling, discharge calculations, network optioneering, planning, and detailed design using SewerGEMS/SewerCAD.
- Design of potable water networks, including demand calculations, network layout, preparation of design reports and design using WaterGEMS or equivalent software.
- Design of stormwater drainage systems, including hydraulic modelling, spread/runoff calculations, inlet spacing, network planning, coordination with road team, and design using SewerGEMS/ StormCAD/ InfoWorks ICM and Civil 3D.
- Design of irrigation networks, including flow estimation, network segmentation (primary/secondary/tertiary), zoning, layout development, coordination with landscape teams and design using WaterGEMS or equivalent software.
- Knowledge of pump-station design requirements and coordination with mechanical, electrical, structural, and instrumentation teams during design development.
- Preparation of gravity and pressurized pipeline profiles, including force main design and related hydraulic considerations.
- Experience in clash detection and resolution with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to develop design options and technical recommendations to enhance system performance, optimization, constructability, and compliance with authority standards.
- Monitor and review design deliverables (drawings, hydraulic models, calculations, reports) to ensure quality, and compliance with client and authority specifications.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
- Familiarity with Qatar authority regulations, standards, and approval processes.
2. QHSE Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QHSE Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality, health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained across all projects and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define policies and strategies for Quality Management and HSE, reporting to Top Management.
- Identify and implement new quality concepts and best practices.
- Review and approve Project Quality Plans and HSE Plans prepared by Project Managers.
- Prepare and review project procedures including PQP, ITP, QA/QC procedures, and monitor their implementation.
- Review and analyze method statements and associated risk assessments for critical activities.
- Participate in Integrated Management System (IMS) internal audits to proactively identify non-conformities and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
- Analyze customer satisfaction reports and manage customer complaints.
- Review contractor documentation and audit compliance with contract requirements.
- Implement Quality Assurance processes aligned with client and company standards.
- Develop and execute quality assurance action plans; enhance productivity, quality, and customer service; resolve issues and implement system improvements.
- Conduct risk assessments for specific jobs and critical activities.
- Coordinate and deliver training to process owners and executors on IMS policies, procedures, and core processes.
- Prepare quality reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
- Prepare quality assurance action plans; implement productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identify and resolve problems; determine system improvements; and implement changes.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience in GCC with min. 5 years experience in QA/QC
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Relevant third party auditing experience for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 management systems.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Nebosh IGC certification is added advantages
