2. Job Description

Supports electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and temporary-power requirements for events, exhibitions and production projects in Qatar.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test and troubleshoot event and production electrical systems.
• Set up temporary power distribution, cabling, lighting and AV-related electrical connections.
• Carry out pre-event electrical inspections and prepare temporary wiring layouts.
• Ensure work complies with electrical safety standards, Qatar requirements and event regulations.
• Coordinate electrical needs with project managers, designers, carpentry teams and event crews.
• Supervise electrical installation and dismantling activity at event sites.
• Respond quickly to faults and technical issues during live events.
• Read electrical drawings, layouts and technical diagrams.
• Support electrical connections for fabrication, carpentry and production equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, materials and inventory and participate in safety inspections and risk assessments.

4. Requirements & Qualifications

• Technical diploma, certificate or equivalent qualification in electrical systems, electrical installation or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant electrician experience.
• Events, exhibitions, production, fabrication or temporary-installation experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cabling, temporary power distribution and lighting.
• Ability to troubleshoot in fast-paced or live-event environments and read technical drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and Qatar electrical requirements.
• AV, lighting-rig or temporary-power experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure and during installations, dismantling, weekends or extended hours when required.
