To ensure prompt and efficient delivery of standard purchasing and contracts operations in compliance with KFAS’s policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
Formulate and implement Procurement strategy in line with the KFAS’s and the Procurement short, medium, and long-term objectives.
Monitor the financial performance of activities within Procurement versus allocated budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
Develop annual workplans and budgets in accordance with established KPIs under the guidance of Director Finance & Investment and in coordination with Strategy department.
Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within the unit is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and departmental policy.
Receive from each department the procurement needs and ensure the requests are approved by the concerned department head.
