Air Freight Specialist - ATGHS (USN)



Perform all tasks associated with the safe and correct operation of the Air Terminal as directed by management, regulations, policies, Instructions and the Performance Work Statement.


Your Impact


Operate GATES/GDSS systems as required.

Assists with data base integrity by reviewing all required GATES reports when requested.

Ensure cargo and baggage are properly handled utilizing the load plan lAW applicable instructions.

Validate, select, stage and load aircraft IAW applicable guidance.

Build-up/ break-down baggage/mix pallets, multi-pallet trains and loose cargo.

Offload/ on load cargo on surface and air conveyance.

Accurately weigh and record cargo and baggage.

Ensure all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements are properly and accurately accomplished.

Perform terminal inventories.

Properly store and facilitate onward movement of all cargo.

Coordinate timely cargo and mail pick-up/release.

Reconfigure cargo to meet aircraft envelope.

Accomplish manual procedures when systems are down.

Escort trucks, buses, personnel and other surface conveyances.

Ensure maximum aircraft utilization based upon available airlift and existing port backlogs.


Facilitate on-time aircraft departures.

Ensure all trash is removed from aircraft other than AMC Contracted Aircraft.

Ensure water coolers, ice chests and freezer are stocked with water and ice for each shift.

Ensure all vehicles are parked per the published vehicle parking plan.

Perform Wing-Walker duties.

Process cargo lAW applicable instructions.

Operate K-loaders, forklifts, buses, tugs, vans or other required vehicles safely, inspect daily utilizing check lists and AFTO forms and ensure vehicles in need of repair or service are properly turned in to maintenance.

Perform Cargo Processing, Special Handling, and Load Planning functions in accordance with AFI24-605, Volumes, DTR 4500-9 1Parts 2 and 3, and AFJMAN 24-204 and other applicable instructions.

Perform Joint Inspections.

Perform aircraft ground services IAW Air Force Occupational Safety and Health Standard (AFOSHSTD) 91-100, T.O. 00-25-172, AFI 11-218, and applicable aircraft T.O.’s.

Position, deposition, connect, disconnect to / from aircraft all ground support equipment to include 150 lb Halon Fire Bottles.

Perform follow-me marshaling to include blocking, chocking, wingtip/tail clearance guard duties.

Perform pushback and towing duties for all transiting aircraft.

Wash AGE equipment as scheduled.

Store and park AGE equipment per the published parking plan.

Operate/inspect light carts positioned on aircraft parking locations.

Perform supplemental duties in Aircraft Services or other work centers as required by Supervisor, Lead and Management.

Passenger Service Specialist - ATGHS (USN)




LBS is seeking a full-time Passenger Service Specialist in Kuwait to support the ir Terminal Ground Handling Services. Perform all tasks associated with the safe and correct operation of the Air Terminal as directed by management, regulations, policies, Instructions and the Performance Work Statement.

Your Impact

Ensure passenger service functions are IAW AFI 24-605, Volumes, DTR 4500.9-R, Parts I and III and all guidance listed in the PWS.
Verify that processed passengers using automated / non-automated systems are accurate and ensure manual procedures are executed without error.
Monitor the maintenance and operation of terminal security equipment and reports issues to the Passenger Manager.
Ensure proper execution of the Lost & Found and Mishandled baggage procedures.
Ensure proper posting of Space Available and Space Required passenger listings.
Monitor personnel training and ensures compliance when determining travel eligibility.
Verify GATES X-man Excel file inputs are accurate as per the PWS.
Work with remote sites to ensure timely delivery of passenger information as per the PWS.
Control all government provided equipment and ensure proper use; reports any issues to the Passenger Service Manager.
Ensure passengers are properly assisted with visa and passport issues as per developed procedures.
Monitor transportation and lodging procedures for in-transit thru-load passengers are being completed as per guidance.
Verify collection of orders for all flights as per the PWS and regulations.
Ensure personnel are properly trained IAW applicable regulations and requirement of the PWS.
Enforce the screening exemption letter and provides the Passenger Manager updates when required.
Monitor sterile passenger holding areas ensuring they are properly used and maintained.
Ensure passengers are briefed on the AMC Commander’s comment box location and reports any issues to the Passenger Service Manager.
Verify personnel are properly enforcing hazardous/dangerous goods that are acceptable/unacceptable for passenger flights.
Ensure baggage is separated by destination as per the PWS.
Monitor and ensure mishandled baggage is documented as per the PWS.
Ensure funds are handled in accordance with establish guidelines and help the Passenger Service Manager to resolve issues found during internal audits.
Ensure proper completion of the Mishandled Baggage Summary report as per the PWS.
Process Distinguished Visitors (DV’s) working with Protocol office.
Perform Supplemental duties in Passenger Service or other work centers as required by Passenger Service Manager.
Who You Are


Required Qualifications

Must have one (1) years of working knowledge in performing Passenger Terminal Operations Services.
Shall have extensive experience in GATES systems and be familiar with all air terminal and flight-line operations.
Customer Services professional.
Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs. Must be detail oriented, motivated and drive to perform at a high level.
Must be able to comprehend English to include reading and writing.

Air Traffic Control Maintenance Technician




Required Qualifications


Assist with installation and adjustment of air traffic control (ATC) communication and navigation aid systems
Maintain ATC communication systems and troubleshoot issues
Test, align, and adjust equipment; replace and repair faulty components
Maintain equipment maintenance records, authorized spare parts, supply stock, tool lists, and technical manuals
Perform comparison checks on repaired equipment in accordance with standards
Requisition materials and parts for ATC equipment
Perform 24-hour on call duties on a rotating basis
Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor or maintenance chief
Uses all equipment safely

Preferred Qualifications


Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Minimum two(2) years of experience in electronics, communications, or similar field with at least two( 2) years as an air traffic control technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair airfield lighting, communications, navigational equipment, and meteorological systems
Excellent oral and written communication skills; must speak and understand English in order to coordinate movement on the ramps via two-way radios
Knowledgeable in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing airfield lighting, communications, and navigational equipment
Ability to translate communication needs of employees/customers not versed in computer terminology into meaningful solutions for both hardware and software
Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity and with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

LOGCAP - Air Traffic Control Maintenance Technician (USN)



LBS is seeking a full time Air Traffic Control Maintenance Technician to support our LOGCAP V operation at the US Army Udairi Airfield (UAAF) in Kuwait. The Air Traffic Control Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs electronics such as radios, digital voice recorders, communications switches, touch screen displays, airfield lighting systems, navigational aids, and landing systems. Although specific duties vary by assignment or contract typical duties include:

Serving as the senior maintenance technician responsible for establishing a training program and training all subordinates in accordance to the applicable regulations
Leads a team of technicians and schedule work to maintain and repair air traffic control communication and navigation aids such as radios, digital voice recorders, communication switches, touch screen displays and systems including Enhanced Terminal Voice Switch, airfield lighting, navigational aids, landing, and meteorology systems
Schedule official flight inspections and flight checks as required to determine whether Airfield Navigational Aids performances are satisfactory according to applicable military and FAA publications and tolerance
Manage the ATC Maintenance Certification Program
Read airfield wiring diagrams; troubleshoot and repair multi-step airfield lighting to include Medium Intensity Approach Lighting with Sequence Flasher and Constant Current Regulator/Microprocessor Controlled Regulator
Install, adjust, and maintain ATC communication and navigation aids
Provide technicians with training materials to achieve comprehensive training on systems, subsystems, and equipment

Coordinate maintenance-related issues such as Letters of Agreements, on-call rosters, and Navigational Aids scheduled maintenance with Facility Supervisor or Air Traffic Manager
Perform 24-hour on call duties on a rotating basis
