Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic
Location: Doha
Role in the Organization:
We're searching for a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic with extensive knowledge of heavy vehicle repairs to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to quickly diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
Our Requirements:
- Professional experience as a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanics
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Practical experience in heavy truck repairs
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of operating specialized workshop equipment
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and buses (IVECO, ASHOK LEYLAND, etc.)
- Perform work accurately and efficiently, following dealership and factory standards
- Coordinate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out technical inspections and adjust/replace mechanical and electronic components
- Identify breakdown causes and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Operate and maintain workshop tools and equipment
- Adjust equipment and replace defective parts
- Perform cleaning, lubrication, and other maintenance work
- Diagnose malfunctions using computerized systems or testing equipment
- Repair emission control systems as required
- Handle basic maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotations
- Replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
- Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and customer specifications
- Conduct safety inspections and recommend further repairs if needed to the Workshop Supervisor/Manager
- Communicate with the service advisor/supervisor if additional work is required or if repairs cannot be completed as promised
- Document all completed and recommended work on the repair order or job card
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and events
- Stay updated on technical bulletins from manufacturers
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop area
- Take responsibility for dealership-owned tools and manuals, ensuring they are returned in good condition
- Report any machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor
- Notify management immediately of any safety issues
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Education:
- Higher Diploma (Preferred)
- ITI Qualification (Technician/Mechanic)
- Automotive/Mechanical Engineering Diploma
Experience:
- 5 to 8 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic specializing in Heavy Vehicles (Truck & Bus) within a dealership (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Auto Mechanic Certificate (Preferred)

الدور في المؤسسة:
نبحث عن ميكانيكي شاحنات ثقيلة ماهر يمتلك معرفة واسعة في إصلاح المركبات الثقيلة لينضم إلى فريقنا. يجب أن يكون لدى المرشح المثالي الخبرة اللازمة لتشخيص الأعطال بسرعة وإجراء الإصلاحات بشكل فعال.
متطلباتنا:
- خبرة مهنية كميكانيكي شاحنات ثقيلة
- معرفة بميكانيكا المركبات
- القدرة على تشخيص الأعطال الميكانيكية والكهربائية
- خبرة عملية في إصلاح الشاحنات الثقيلة
- تنظيم جيد للعمل والقدرة على العمل بشكل مستقل
- معرفة بتشغيل المعدات الخاصة بالورش
- القدرة على العمل بفعالية ضمن فريق
مسؤولياتك:
- إجراء الفحوصات والإصلاحات للمركبات الثقيلة مثل الشاحنات والحافلات (IVECO, ASHOK LEYLAND)
- أداء العمل بدقة وكفاءة وفقاً لمعايير الوكالة والمصنع
- التواصل مع قسم الأجزاء للحصول على الأجزاء المطلوبة
- تشخيص الأعطال الميكانيكية والكهربائية
- إجراء الفحوصات الفنية وتعديل واستبدال المكونات الميكانيكية والإلكترونية
- تحديد أسباب الأعطال وإصلاح الأنظمة الميكانيكية والكهربائية والهيدروليكية
- تشغيل وصيانة أدوات ومعدات الورشة
- ضبط المعدات واستبدال الأجزاء التالفة
- القيام بأعمال التنظيف والتشحيم والصيانة الأخرى
- تشخيص الأعطال باستخدام أنظمة حاسوبية أو معدات اختبار لتحديد السبب الجذري للمشاكل
- إصلاح أنظمة التحكم في الانبعاثات حسب الحاجة
- القيام بأعمال الصيانة الأساسية، مثل تغيير الزيت وفحص مستويات السوائل وتدوير الإطارات
- استبدال الأجزاء المستهلكة، مثل تيل الفرامل ومحامل العجلات والحساسات
- التأكد من أن الإصلاحات تلبي مواصفات الشركة المصنعة والعملاء
- إجراء فحوصات السلامة والتوصية بإصلاحات إضافية عند الحاجة للمشرف أو المدير
- التواصل مع مستشار الخدمة/المشرف إذا كان العمل الإضافي مطلوباً أو لا يمكن إكماله كما هو مقرر
- توثيق جميع الأعمال المنجزة والمقترحة على أمر الإصلاح أو بطاقة العمل
- المشاركة في برامج التدريب والأحداث التي تنظمها الشركة المصنعة
- البقاء على اطلاع بالنشرات الفنية من الشركات المصنعة
- الحفاظ على منطقة العمل نظيفة ومنظمة
- الحفاظ على جميع الأدوات والكتيبات المملوكة للوكالة وإعادتها بحالة جيدة
- الإبلاغ عن أي عيوب في الآلات أو أعطال للمشرف
- إبلاغ الإدارة فوراً بأي مسائل تتعلق بالسلامة
- تنفيذ مهام إضافية حسب توجيهات الإدارة
التعليم:
- دبلوم عالي (يفضل)
- مؤهل ITI (فني/ميكانيكي)
- دبلوم هندسة ميكانيكية/سيارات
الخبرة:
- 5 إلى 8 سنوات من الخبرة كميكانيكي سيارات متخصص في المركبات الثقيلة (شاحنات وحافلات) ضمن وكالة (يفضل)
الرخصة/الشهادة:
- شهادة ميكانيكي سيارات (يفضل)
