1. Rope Access Project Manager

To ensure the safe, efficient operation of Rope Access operations. Develop and promote Rope Access, under the guidance of the Global Rope Access Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Direct personnel within the division to ensure operational efficiency and the implementation of the appropriate standards of quality control in every facet of business performance.
  • Seek to continually improve existing systems and methods of work.
  • Prepare and review Risk Assessments, Method Statements and perform personnel competency checks as necessary.
  • Review and support complex rope access activity scopes of work
  • Carry out regular site and internal audits against accreditation requirements.
  • Ensure safe systems of working at heights to cover all aspects.
  • Ensure quality standards at every level of the division’s activity so that the quality of service meets the necessary standards.
  • Perform Safety tool box talks with employees for all new employees and quarterly with existing.
  • Carry out work in accordance with the company Health, safety, environmental and quality systems.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the department personnel by providing systems of work that are so far as reasonably practical, safe and without risk to health.

Ensuring compliance with all HSE requirements and supporting Management or Supervisors for all Rope Access and/or NDT related activities.

Qualifications

  • To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each of the essential functions listed below satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
  • Qualified to IRATA Level 3 demonstrated by Rope hours(E)
  • 5 Years experience at Level 3 (E).
  • 5 years’ experience in an NDT environment (P)
  • Thorough knowledge of Rope Access (E)
  • Knowledge of NDT disciplines (E)
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Excel and Word)
  • PETZL PPE Inspection Qualified or similar (E)

2. AUT Scanner Technician

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform all activities necessary for AUT girth weld inspectionPerform all activities necessary for AUT girth weld inspection.

  • Functions
  • Follow up directives given by the AUT Operator/ Supervisor.
  • Adjustments to ultrasonic scanner head as instructed by AUT Operators to ensure recognized standards are met
  • Have clear communication with the AUT operator during inspection
  • Mark defect repair areas at the discretion of the AUT operator
  • Maintain the NDT equipment and report the breakdown of part/s items to the supervisor
  • Assist in making AUT set-ups for qualification and validation activities
  • Update the AUT operator on the status of the preparations, execution, problems foreseen or encountered, and improvements for current or upcoming projects.
