Sleep Technician - About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
Sleep Study Administration: Performing comprehensive sleep testing and analysis, including polysomnography, multiple sleep latency tests (MSLT), and maintenance of wakefulness tests (MWT).
Patient Preparation: Preparing patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures, applying sensors, and ensuring comfort.
Data Collection and Analysis: Monitoring patients during sleep studies, recording physiological data, and identifying any abnormalities.
Intervention Implementation: Implementing associated interventions under the general supervision of a physician, such as continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) titration.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring all sleep study equipment is properly calibrated and functioning correctly.
Reporting: Compiling and summarizing sleep study results for physician interpretation..

This role involves working closely with patients to improve their foot health.
Qualifications
- Medicine and Podiatry skills
- Expertise in Biomechanics and Orthotics
- Specialization in Diabetes and Diabetic foot care
- Strong knowledge of foot anatomy and common podiatric conditions
