Job Description
As an F&B Captain, you will support the overall Food & Beverage operation at the hotel, focusing on maximizing guest satisfaction, enhancing team member performance, and improving business results. Your key responsibilities include:
- Promoting and ensuring guest satisfaction in every aspect of the food and beverage experience.
- Maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
- Ensuring the highest quality products are being served by your team.
- Developing and maintaining a strong, motivated team environment.
- Delivering prompt, courteous service in line with brand and Food & Beverage standards.
- Handling daily team member relations and encouraging problem-solving through proper training and empowerment.

Job Description
As a Bartender, your key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
- Being fully knowledgeable about all bar products and cocktail recipes.
- Providing high-quality, personalized service in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Preparing mise en place and performing side duties.
- Having a thorough understanding and knowledge of all beverage items and preparing garnishes for each cocktail accordingly.
- Adhering to the established opening and closing procedures for the outlet and checking beverage stock.
- Monitoring operating supplies to reduce spoilage and wastage.
- Following all steps of service.
- Ensuring all stock levels are maintained.
- Verifying that all guests are at least 21 years of age.
- Providing prompt, accurate reports of all income received during your shift.
- Selling beverages responsibly, keeping the customer’s best interest in mind.
- Maintaining smooth communication between the bar and server requests.
- Completing all side work as outlined in the manual.
- Reporting to work on time and ready to work scheduled shifts.
- Maintaining a positive, friendly attitude with co-workers and guests.
- Keeping the restaurant service area clean and orderly.
- Assisting with or executing any tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Following all proper sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
- 1-2 years of experience in hospitality.
- Full compliance with HACCP standards and certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
- Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
- Demonstrated strong beverage knowledge.
- Work experience in the GCC region is an advantage.
