Prevention Specialist - Arab↔

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Prevention Programs:

   • Develop and implement evidence-based prevention programs tailored to various populations, including youth, adults, and at-risk groups.

2. Outreach and Awareness:

   • Engage in outreach activities to educate the public on the risks of substance use, deliver presentations, workshops, and educational materials to raise awareness about SUDs.

3. Assessment and Risk Factor Identification:

   • Conduct assessments to identify risk factors for substance use disorder in individuals, families, and communities, and contribute to developing interventions to reduce these risks.

4. Collaboration with Stakeholders:

   • Collaborate with stakeholders such as schools, healthcare organizations, law enforcement, and other community partners to promote substance use prevention strategies.

5. Follow-up and Program Evaluation:

   • Follow up and track the effectiveness of implemented prevention programs through data collection, analysis, and reporting, and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and outcomes.

6. Policy and Procedure Recommendations:

   • Suggest policies, procedures, and practices that support prevention efforts and reduce access to drugs and substances, and stay updated on legislation and policy changes related to SUDs.

7. Support and Referral Services:

   • Provide support and referral services to individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder, assisting them in accessing treatment resources as needed.

8. Reporting:

   • Prepare detailed reports on prevention programs and initiatives, implementation progress, challenges, and outcomes.

9. Teamwork:

   • Engage proactively in teamwork and contribute to team-building processes.

Ethical, Legal, and Professional Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable of and compliant with laws, rules, and regulations that govern healthcare practice in Qatar.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and quality improvement and infection control standards.

Educational Responsibilities:

1. Mandatory Training:

   • Attend Naufar's mandatory training courses and other specific training courses relevant to the scope of practice as assigned by the supervisor.

2. Participate in Educational Activities:

   • Participate in internal or external educational activities, programs, meetings, and workshops to enhance professional development as nominated by the supervisor.

3. Continuous Professional Development:

   • Fulfill continuing professional development requirements and participate in relevant learning opportunities, such as conferences or seminars, to enhance personal expertise and apply that expertise in providing continuous quality improvement of patient care at Naufar Center.

2. التوعية والتثقيف:

   • التعاون مع أصحاب المصلحة مثل المدارس، والمنظمات الصحية، وقوات الأمن، وغيرها من الأطراف المجتمعية لتعزيز استراتيجيات الوقاية من تعاطي المواد المخدرة.

5. متابعة وتقييم فعالية البرامج:

   • متابعة وتقييم فعالية البرامج الوقائية المنفذة من خلال جمع البيانات وتحليلها وإعداد التقارير، وإجراء التعديلات اللازمة بناءً على التعليقات والنتائج.

6. اقتراح السياسات والإجراءات:

   • اقتراح السياسات والإجراءات والممارسات التي تدعم جهود الوقاية وتقلل من الوصول إلى المخدرات والمواد، ومواكبة التشريعات والتغيرات في السياسات المتعلقة باضطرابات تعاطي المواد المخدرة.

7. الدعم والإحالة:

   • تقديم الدعم وخدمات الإحالة للأفراد والعائلات المتأثرة باضطراب تعاطي المواد المخدرة، ومساعدتهم في الوصول إلى الموارد العلاجية عند الحاجة.

8. إعداد التقارير:

   • إعداد تقارير مفصلة عن البرامج والمبادرات الوقائية والأنشطة، وتقدم التنفيذ، والتحديات، والنتائج.

9. العمل الجماعي:

   • المشاركة الفعالة في العمل الجماعي وعمليات بناء الفريق.

المسؤوليات الأخلاقية والقانونية والمهنية:

• معرفة القوانين والقواعد واللوائح التي تحكم ممارسة الرعاية الصحية في قطر والامتثال لها.
• ضمان الامتثال للسياسات والإجراءات ومعايير تحسين الجودة ومعايير التحكم في العدوى.

1. الدورات التدريبية:

   • حضور الدورات التدريبية الإلزامية في نوفار والدورات التدريبية الخاصة المتعلقة بمجال العمل حسب ما يحدده المشرف ومتطلبات العمل.

2. المشاركة في الأنشطة التعليمية:

   • المشاركة في الأنشطة التعليمية الداخلية أو الخارجية مثل البرامج والندوات لتعزيز التطوير المهني كما يحدده المشرف.

3. التطوير المهني المستمر:

   • الوفاء بمتطلبات التطوير المهني المستمر والمشاركة في الفرص التعليمية ذات الصلة مثل المؤتمرات أو الندوات لتعزيز الخبرة الشخصية وتطبيق تلك الخبرة في تحسين جودة الرعاية في مركز نوفار.
