 Company Information:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team and contribute to the reliable operation of offshore assets. If you have significant experience in offshore environments, particularly in FLNG/FPSO operations, and have a strong commitment to safety and quality, we want to hear from you!

Key Tasks

• Perform routine inspections, servicing, and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Conduct condition monitoring and identify potential equipment failures, addressing issues proactively before they lead to operational downtime.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is performed according to manufacturer guidelines, project standards, and safety protocols.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, including equipment malfunctions, leaks, and abnormal vibrations, to identify the root cause of problems.
• Execute corrective maintenance tasks such as part replacements, repairs, and adjustments to restore equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and respond to urgent repairs, ensuring safe and timely execution of corrective actions.
• Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild mechanical components during scheduled overhauls or breakdown repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with offshore safety standards and project-specific HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports and communicate significant findings or repair needs to the Mechanical Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor.

Technical Skills

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in the naval sector, particularly in FLNG or FPSO projects.
• Strong background in preventive and corrective maintenance of rotating equipment systems (pumps, compressors, turbines).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
