Job Description

As a Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising all activities on the job site, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high productivity levels while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage several teams and guarantee the successful completion of projects in an efficient and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise activities and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Manage crews, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support to workers.
• Monitor progress and productivity on the site, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
• Enforce safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among crew members to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct regular inspections of the worksite to ensure quality standards are met and workmanship is of the highest level.
• Resolve conflicts or disputes among crew members and address any performance issues promptly and effectively.
• Keep accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents or accidents that occur on the site.
• Participate in planning meetings and provide input on schedules, resource allocation, and project budgets.
• Serve as a liaison between project management and crews, communicating project updates, changes, and expectations clearly and effectively.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Understanding of construction methods, techniques, and materials to effectively oversee construction activities and ensure compliance.
• Ability to lead and motivate construction crews, delegate tasks, and provide clear direction to achieve project objectives.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures to create a safe work environment and prevent accidents or injuries on the construction site.
• Effective communication skills to convey instructions, provide feedback, and resolve conflicts among crew members and with project stakeholders.

• مراقبة تقدم العمل والإنتاجية في الموقع، والتعرف على أي مشكلات أو تأخيرات ومعالجتها.
• فرض لوائح السلامة وتعزيز ثقافة السلامة بين أعضاء الفريق لمنع الحوادث والإصابات.
• التنسيق مع المقاولين الفرعيين والموردين وأصحاب المصلحة الآخرين لضمان التسليم في الوقت المحدد للمواد والخدمات.
• إجراء فحوصات دورية للموقع للتأكد من الالتزام بمعايير الجودة وأن العمل يتم بأعلى مستوى.
• حل النزاعات أو الخلافات بين أعضاء الفريق ومعالجة أي قضايا تتعلق بالأداء بشكل سريع وفعّال.
• الاحتفاظ بسجلات دقيقة عن تقدم العمل والمواد المستخدمة وأي حوادث أو إصابات تحدث في الموقع.
• المشاركة في اجتماعات التخطيط وتقديم مدخلات حول الجداول الزمنية وتخصيص الموارد وميزانيات المشروع.
• العمل كحلقة وصل بين إدارة المشروع والفِرق، والتواصل بوضوح وفعالية بشأن التحديثات والتغييرات والتوقعات.

المهارات والمعرفة المطلوبة

• فهم لأساليب وتقنيات ومواد البناء للإشراف على الأنشطة وضمان الامتثال.
• القدرة على قيادة وتحفيز الفرق، وتوزيع المهام، وتقديم التوجيه الواضح لتحقيق أهداف المشروع.
• معرفة بلوائح السلامة والإجراءات لخلق بيئة عمل آمنة ومنع الحوادث والإصابات في الموقع.
• مهارات تواصل فعّالة لنقل التعليمات وتقديم الملاحظات وحل النزاعات بين أعضاء الفريق وأصحاب المصلحة في المشروع.
