Job Vacancy: Estimation Engineer

Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: QAR 2,000 – QAR 3,000 per month
Job Type: Full-time / Temporary contract for 2 months

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of glass and aluminum curtain wall systems, ACP cladding, frameless glass partitions, shower enclosures, mirrors, spider glass, stainless steel, and MS structures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Estimating:

   • Prepare accurate and detailed project cost estimates.
   • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine material and labor requirements.
   • Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and overhead costs.
   • Develop comprehensive cost breakdowns, including materials, labor, and subcontractor expenses.

2. Technical Support:

   • Prepare and submit shop drawings for projects.
   • Provide technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales phase.
   • Assist in preparing technical proposals and presentations.
   • Collaborate with project managers to ensure seamless project execution.

3. Vendor Management:

   • Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors.
   • Negotiate pricing and favorable delivery terms.
   • Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and high-quality materials.

4. Quality Assurance:

   • Ensure accuracy and completeness in all estimates.
   • Review and approve material take-offs and shop drawings.
   • Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and cost overruns.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in estimating glass and aluminum projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Relocation/Commute:
  Candidates should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Qatar before starting the role.

• Experience Requirements:

  • AutoCAD: 5 years (required).
  • Shop drawings: 5 years (preferred).

عن الوظيفة:

نبحث عن مهندس تقدير تكاليف ماهر ومتمرس للانضمام إلى فريقنا. يجب أن يمتلك المرشح المثالي فهمًا عميقًا لأنظمة الجدران الزجاجية والألمنيوم، ألواح الكلادينج، التقسيمات الزجاجية بدون إطار، المرايا، أنظمة الزجاج العنكبوتي، والهياكل المعدنية (MS) والفولاذ المقاوم للصدأ.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

1. التقدير:

   • إعداد تقديرات دقيقة ومفصلة لتكاليف المشاريع.
   • تحليل الرسومات والمواصفات وجداول الكميات لتحديد متطلبات المواد والعمالة.
   • حساب كميات المواد، ساعات العمل، وتكاليف التشغيل.
   • إعداد تحليلات تفصيلية للتكاليف تشمل المواد، العمالة، وتكاليف المقاولين الفرعيين.

2. الدعم الفني:

   • إعداد وتقديم الرسومات التنفيذية (Shop Drawings).
   • توفير الدعم الفني لفريق المبيعات في مرحلة ما قبل البيع.
   • المساعدة في إعداد العروض الفنية والعروض التقديمية.
   • التعاون مع مديري المشاريع لضمان التنفيذ السلس للمشاريع.

3. إدارة الموردين:

   • تحديد وتقييم الموردين والمقاولين الفرعيين.
   • التفاوض للحصول على أسعار وشروط توريد مناسبة.
   • الحفاظ على علاقات قوية مع الموردين لضمان التسليم في الوقت المناسب وجودة المواد.

4. ضمان الجودة:

   • ضمان دقة وكمال جميع التقديرات.
   • مراجعة واعتماد الكميات والرسومات التنفيذية.
   • تنفيذ تدابير مراقبة الجودة لتقليل الأخطاء وتجاوز التكاليف.

المؤهلات والمهارات المطلوبة:

• درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو الميكانيكية أو مجال ذي صلة.
• خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في تقدير تكاليف مشاريع الزجاج والألمنيوم.
• فهم قوي للمواد الإنشائية وطرق البناء والمعايير الصناعية.
• إجادة استخدام AutoCAD وبرامج تقدير التكاليف.
• مهارات تحليلية وحل المشكلات والتفاوض.
