We are seeking a skilled and experienced Façade Designer/Estimator with a strong background in facade systems design and project estimation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience, proficient in creating detailed system, concept, and shop drawings, as well as estimating project costs accurately. Experience with unitized and semi-unitized facade systems is essential, along with expertise in AutoCAD 2D/3D. Familiarity with Revit Architecture is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed system, concept, and shop drawings for facade projects using AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
Develop and refine facade designs to meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with project goals.
Estimate project costs by analyzing materials, labor, and other factors, ensuring accurate budgeting.
Apply Revit Architecture for advanced design and documentation processes (preferred).
Recommend appropriate materials and techniques for aluminum facade systems, including UCW, CW, skylights, windows, and doors.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
Participate in project meetings and site visits to gather information and provide technical expertise.
Revise drafts and estimates as needed to meet project specifications and requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in facade design and estimation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D; experience with Revit Architecture is an advantage.
Strong understanding of unitized and semi-unitized facade systems.
Extensive knowledge of aluminum/steel facade systems and applications.
Excellent drafting, design, and estimation skills.
