Job Details

As a Specialist in Anesthesiology, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery or medical procedures. You will assess patients' medical history and physical condition before determining the appropriate anesthesia plan. Monitoring patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, during and after procedures will be an essential part of your role. You will also provide post-anesthesia care and manage any complications or side effects. Collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals is key to ensuring a smooth and effective surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery or medical procedures.
• Assess patients' medical history and physical condition to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
• Monitor vital signs during and after procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Adjust anesthesia levels as necessary.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and manage complications or side effects.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and medical professionals for effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document anesthesia administration.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest anesthesiology techniques, medications, and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to medical standards, protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Provide guidance to junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of post-specialty experience in a governmental, semi-governmental, or teaching hospital.
• Board certification or Medical Specialization degree in Anesthesiology.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Specialist in Anesthesia.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, drugs, and monitoring equipment.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical teams.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic is preferred.

كأخصائية تخدير، ستكونين مسؤولة عن تقديم التخدير للمرضى الذين يخضعون للجراحة أو الإجراءات الطبية. ستقومين بتقييم التاريخ الطبي والظروف البدنية للمرضى قبل تحديد خطة التخدير المناسبة. سيكون من الضروري مراقبة العلامات الحيوية للمرضى، مثل معدل ضربات القلب وضغط الدم ومستويات الأوكسجين، أثناء وبعد الإجراءات. كما ستقدمي الرعاية بعد التخدير وتديري أي مضاعفات أو آثار جانبية. التعاون مع الجراحين والممرضين وغيرهم من المتخصصين الطبيين يعد أمرًا أساسيًا لضمان سير العمليات الجراحية بشكل فعال وآمن.

المسؤوليات

• تقديم التخدير للمرضى الذين يخضعون للجراحة أو الإجراءات الطبية.
• تقييم التاريخ الطبي والظروف البدنية للمرضى لتحديد خطط التخدير المناسبة.
• مراقبة العلامات الحيوية أثناء وبعد الإجراءات لضمان سلامة المرضى وراحتهم.
• تعديل مستويات التخدير حسب الحاجة.
• تقديم الرعاية بعد التخدير وإدارة المضاعفات أو الآثار الجانبية.
• التعاون مع الجراحين والممرضين والفرق الطبية لضمان رعاية فعالة للمرضى.
• الحفاظ على سجلات المرضى بدقة وتوثيق تقديم التخدير.
• متابعة أحدث التقنيات والأدوية والمعدات في مجال التخدير.
• ضمان الالتزام بالمعايير الطبية والبروتوكولات وإرشادات السلامة.
• تقديم الإرشاد والإشراف على الطاقم الطبي الأصغر عند الحاجة.

المؤهلات

• خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات بعد التخصص في مستشفى حكومي أو شبه حكومي أو مستشفى تعليمي.
• شهادة مجلس أو درجة تخصص طبية في التخدير.
• خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات كأخصائي في التخدير.
• معرفة قوية بتقنيات التخدير والأدوية ومعدات المراقبة.
• القدرة على اتخاذ قرارات سريعة في المواقف ذات الضغط العالي.
• مهارات تواصل ممتازة للتفاعل مع المرضى والفريق الطبي.
• إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية مطلوبة؛ واللغة العربية مفضلة.
