Senior-level Special Security Technician (Multi-discipline, Deployed) - CENTCOM
↔Location: CENTCOM Region, Qatar

Job Overview:
Celestar is seeking a highly experienced Senior-level Special Security Technician to support operations at CFH in the CENTCOM region. This position involves a significant role in providing security-related support and ensuring the control and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and SCI facilities (SCIFs). The role requires the contractor to work six days a week for 12 hours per day. Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations & Support
• Assist the Special Security Officer (SSO) to ensure proper control of access to SCI and SCI facilities.
• Certify and receive SCI visitor clearances and access, ensuring compliance with USCENTCOM regulations.
• Conduct SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, and training on classified material and related SSO topics.
• Obtain signed nondisclosure agreements and provide guidance on processing SCI position and eligibility requests for military, government, and contractor personnel.

Audit & Inspection
• Perform audits of classified materials and inspections of classified storage facilities, SCIFs, and containers.
• Ensure that all classified materials are stored and handled according to strict security protocols and regulations.

Policy & Management Recommendations
• Research, prepare, and offer recommendations related to classified material management and security policies.
• Develop reports and provide security recommendations to enhance operational effectiveness and compliance.

Additional Duties
• Support the SSO in various security-related tasks and projects as required.
• Maintain USCENTCOM-specific SSO certifications in each security discipline and comply with all training requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience related to Special Security Operations (SSO), with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
• Education:
• Master’s degree in a relevant area from an accredited university, or
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus an additional 5 years of senior experience (total of 17 years of related experience).
• USCENTCOM-specific SSO certifications must be completed before deployment.
• In-depth knowledge of SCI, SCIFs, and security protocols associated with classified materials.
• Experience in performing audits and inspections of classified material storage and handling.
• Ability to provide training and guidance on SSO-related topics and materials.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive materials with the highest degree of security and discretion.
