What You’ll Be Doing
As the HR Manager/Business Partner (HRBP) in Qatar, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals. You will focus on Talent Acquisition (TA), working closely with business leaders to attract top talent and ensure seamless execution of recruitment processes. Additionally, you will support HR functions across the APME region, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Leadership
• Act as an HR business partner to the Senior Management Team, contributing to the development of business plans to achieve business goals.
• Shape and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
• Lead and support change management initiatives across the business.
• Develop and promote the employer brand, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Support career development plans and talent management within the organization.
• Ensure HR policies/procedures relating to recruitment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations align with company standards.
• Manage and drive HR KPIs to align with business needs and strategies.
• Recommend and implement HR systems, tools, and reports to improve HR effectiveness.
• Manage personnel cost budgets based on business plan needs.
HR Expertise & People Management
• Advise and support line managers on people management matters, ensuring alignment with local laws, best practices, and company culture.
• Maintain knowledge of legal HR requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance and reducing legal risk.
• Lead employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop talented individuals within the organization.
HR Administration & Payroll
• Oversee all HR administration tasks for the employee population.
• Manage HR data using People system (ERP), ensuring employee and manager self-service options are available.
• Coordinate with Finance and the outsourced payroll provider to manage payroll processes.
• Oversee company insurance and benefits schemes, including registration, updates, and reviews.
• Implement an efficient e-filing system for employee records in the Middle East.
• Manage documentation, including filing, e-storage, archiving, and the disposal of confidential materials.
• Ensure that employment contracts and offer letters are accurate and prepared on time.
• Coordinate with external tax consultants, government departments, and auditors when necessary.
• Regularly report HR KPI data to both local management and regional HQ.
Your Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on Talent Acquisition and business partnering.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and local regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage HR functions across a diverse and dynamic workforce.
• Experience in managing payroll, benefits, and administration processes.
• Proficiency in HR systems and tools.
