• They analyze project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine the quantities of materials, labor, and equipment needed to complete the project. 
• The Estimation Engineer also identifies potential risks, evaluates bids from contractors and suppliers, and ensures that estimates are accurate, competitive, and in line with the project’s budget and timeline. 
• They collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to refine and adjust estimates based on changes to project scope or design.
•  The role requires a strong understanding of civil construction processes, MEP system requirements, cost estimation techniques, and industry standards. 
• Proficiency in estimation software, such as Excel or specialized tools like CostX, is essential for preparing detailed cost breakdowns, while strong analytical and communication skills are necessary for presenting estimates and justifying costs to clients and stakeholders.

2. QCDD Certified Engineer

• A QCDD (Qatar Civil Defence Department) Certified Engineer is an engineering professional who is certified by the QCDD to work on fire safety and civil defense-related projects in Qatar. 
• This role is critical in ensuring that fire protection systems, such as fire alarms, suppression systems, and emergency exits, comply with the Qatari fire safety standards and regulations.
•  The QCDD Certified Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, testing, and maintaining fire safety systems, ensuring that these systems are efficient, effective, and meet all regulatory requirements.
