Now, we are looking for a Service Examiner to join our team in Qatar, where you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of elevators and escalators, providing top-quality maintenance service, and supporting the development of junior colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and contractual works on assigned elevator/escalator units according to the route chart.
- Conduct adjustments and repairs for Otis products, both planned and unplanned, with minimal assistance from the Team Lead – Mechanic.
- Handle equipment call-backs, inspections, and fault finding to return the equipment to service.
- Identify and report abnormalities, missing components, and safety concerns during maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with Otis Line Operators to ensure timely attendance to service requests as per service level agreements.
- Complete relevant paperwork such as timesheets, log cards, and maintenance forms in a timely manner.
- Adhere to client site rules and regulations, ensuring that all activities are conducted in line with Otis safety guidelines.
- Support other junior colleagues with maintenance operations, helping to develop their skills.
- Report accidents, near misses, and safety hazards to the Team Lead.
Minimum Qualifications
- A diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in service/maintenance operations in the vertical transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator maintenance procedures and safety protocols.

المسؤوليات
- أداء أعمال الصيانة الوقائية، والتنظيف، والأعمال التعاقدية لوحدات المصاعد والسلالم المتحركة المخصصة حسب المخطط.
- إجراء التعديلات والإصلاحات (المخطط لها وغير المخطط لها) على منتجات أوتيس، مع الحد الأدنى من المساعدة من قائد الفريق – ميكانيكي.
- التعامل مع استرجاع المعدات، وإجراء الفحص واكتشاف الأعطال لإعادة المعدات إلى الخدمة.
- تحديد والإبلاغ عن أي شذوذ أو مكونات مفقودة أو مخاوف تتعلق بالسلامة أثناء أعمال الصيانة.
- التنسيق مع مشغلي خطوط أوتيس لضمان الاستجابة السريعة لمتطلبات الخدمة وفقًا للاتفاقيات المحددة.
- إكمال الأوراق ذات الصلة مثل جداول الزمن، وكروت السجل، وأشكال الصيانة في الوقت المناسب.
- الالتزام بقواعد وأنظمة موقع العميل، وضمان أن جميع الأنشطة تتم وفقًا لإرشادات السلامة الخاصة بأوتيس.
- دعم الزملاء الأصغر في العمليات الصيانة، والمساعدة في تطوير مهاراتهم.
- الإبلاغ عن الحوادث، والحالات القريبة من الحوادث، والمخاطر أثناء العمل.
الشروط
- دبلوم أو مؤهل معادل.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات في عمليات الخدمة والصيانة في صناعة النقل العمودي.
- معرفة قوية بإجراءات صيانة المصاعد والسلالم المتحركة وبروتوكولات السلامة.
