Primary PE Coordinator (female)
As part of the Primary PE team, you will be responsible for:
Leading the planning, delivery, and assessment of PE lessons across the Primary School.
Developing and implementing a progressive PE curriculum that engages all children and promotes physical literacy.
Organising and coordinating school sports events, competitions, and relevant extracurricular activities.
Promoting the importance of physical health and well-being within the school community.
Monitoring and assessing student progress in physical development.
Working collaboratively with other staff to promote physical activity across the curriculum.
To be considered for a vacancy, you should:
Hold a good bachelor’s degree and PGCE qualification from a reputable UK university.
Have experience of teaching PE across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Have some experience of subject/department leadership.
Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of the PE Curriculum, and assessment within the subject.
