Join Parsons and be part of shaping the future of landscape construction! We're seeking a skilled Assistant Construction Manager to manage on-site construction activities for large landscape projects in Qatar. Details

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager/Construction Manager in managing on-site construction activities for assigned landscape packages.
• Monitor the performance of the construction supervision team to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Help manage project timelines and budgets, identifying risks or issues and providing solutions.
• Develop mitigation strategies and prepare/review daily and weekly progress reports.
• Coordinate responses to RFIs and oversee the processing of change orders.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager/Construction Manager to recommend progress payments.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and the community, ensuring open communication.
• Oversee the technical aspects of the project, working closely with consultants and contractors.
• Plan construction activities, prioritize milestones, and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Implement mitigation measures in the event of project delays.
• Ensure compliance with the project execution plan, health and safety plan, and quality assurance/quality control plans.
• Prepare regular reports summarizing construction activities and project progress.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4-year degree in Engineering (Civil/Agricultural Engineering/Landscape Architecture or related technical field).
• Minimum 12 years of related experience in construction and project management.
• Experience in managing large landscape projects.
• Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.
• Strong working knowledge of landscape, engineering, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in CAD and other relevant software tools for engineering and construction.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to lead on projects.
• Must hold MME/MMUP/UPDA certification.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

• مساعدة مدير المشروع / مدير البناء في إدارة الأنشطة الميدانية للبناء في حزم المشاريع المخصصة للمناظر الطبيعية.
• مراقبة أداء فريق الإشراف على البناء لضمان الامتثال للمتطلبات التعاقدية.
• مساعدة في إدارة جداول المشروع والميزانيات، وتحديد المخاطر أو المشكلات وتقديم الحلول.
• تطوير استراتيجيات التخفيف من المخاطر وإعداد / مراجعة تقارير التقدم اليومية والأسبوعية.
• تنسيق الردود على استفسارات طلبات المعلومات (RFIs) والإشراف على معالجة أوامر التغيير.
• التعاون مع مدير المشروع / مدير البناء في التوصية بالمدفوعات الخاصة بالتقدم.
• تعزيز العلاقات القوية مع العملاء والمجتمع، وضمان التواصل المفتوح.
• الإشراف على الجوانب التقنية للمشروع والعمل عن كثب مع الاستشاريين والمقاولين.
• تخطيط الأنشطة الإنشائية، تحديد الأولويات للمعالم الأساسية وضمان الامتثال للجدول الزمني.
• تنفيذ التدابير التخفيفية في حالة حدوث تأخيرات في المشروع.
• ضمان الامتثال لخطة تنفيذ المشروع، وخطة الصحة والسلامة، وخطط ضمان الجودة / مراقبة الجودة.
• إعداد تقارير دورية تلخص أنشطة البناء وتقدم المشروع.

المهارات والخبرة المطلوبة

• درجة بكاليروس في الهندسة (الهندسة المدنية / الهندسة الزراعية / تصميم المناظر الطبيعية أو مجال تقني ذي صلة).
• خبرة لا تقل عن 12 سنة في البناء وإدارة المشاريع.
• خبرة في إدارة مشاريع المناظر الطبيعية الكبيرة.
• قدرة مثبتة على أداء دور إداري.
• معرفة قوية بعمليات المناظر الطبيعية والهندسة والبناء.
• إلمام بـ CAD وبرامج الكمبيوتر الأخرى المستخدمة عادة في الهندسة والبناء.
• مهارات تواصل كتابية وشفوية ممتازة.
• قدرات قيادية قوية مع القدرة على القيادة في المشاريع.
• يجب أن يكون حائزًا على شهادة MME/MMUP/UPDA.
