↔ Cost Controller Opportunity in Qatar

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Cost Controller to join our dynamic team in Qatar. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial efficiency, controlling costs, and optimizing resources to ensure the profitability of the hotel while delivering an extraordinary experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily, weekly, and monthly cost control for all departments, including Food & Beverage, Rooms, and other hotel operations.
• Analyze inventory levels, ordering patterns, and waste to minimize costs and optimize profitability.
• Prepare and present monthly cost reports and variance analysis to senior management.
• Collaborate with the Finance Department to prepare and manage the hotel’s budget.
• Conduct regular stock audits to ensure proper inventory management and prevent loss or discrepancies.
• Implement effective cost control measures to ensure the hotel remains within budget.
• Assist in pricing strategies for food and beverage menus, as well as other hotel services.
• Liaise with department heads to ensure cost-effective purchasing, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Review and approve purchase requisitions and supplier invoices in accordance with hotel policies.
• Conduct regular cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or guest experience.
• Provide training and support to department heads on cost control processes and procedures.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, and budgeting processes.
• Experience with hotel management software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices.

المسؤوليات

• مراقبة وإدارة التحكم في التكاليف اليومية والأسبوعية والشهرية لجميع الأقسام، بما في ذلك الطعام والشراب، الغرف، وعمليات الفندق الأخرى.
• تحليل مستويات المخزون، أنماط الطلب، والهدر لتقليل التكاليف وتحقيق أقصى قدر من الربحية.
• إعداد وتقديم تقارير تكاليف شهرية وتحليل الفوارق للإدارة العليا.
• التعاون مع قسم المالية لإعداد وإدارة ميزانية الفندق.
• إجراء تدقيقات منتظمة للمخزون لضمان إدارة المخزون بشكل صحيح ومنع الفقدان أو التباين.
• تنفيذ تدابير فعالة للتحكم في التكاليف لضمان بقاء الفندق ضمن الميزانية.
• المساعدة في استراتيجيات التسعير لقوائم الطعام والشراب، وكذلك خدمات الفندق الأخرى.
• التنسيق مع رؤساء الأقسام لضمان الشراء الفعال من حيث التكلفة وتوزيع الموارد وتوظيف العاملين.
• مراجعة واعتماد طلبات الشراء وفواتير الموردين وفقًا لسياسات الفندق.
• إجراء مبادرات لتوفير التكاليف دون التأثير على الجودة أو تجربة الضيوف.
• تقديم التدريب والدعم لرؤساء الأقسام بشأن عمليات وإجراءات التحكم في التكاليف.

المؤهلات والكفاءات

• درجة بكالوريوس في المالية، المحاسبة، إدارة الضيافة أو مجال ذي صلة.
• خبرة مثبتة كمنسق تكاليف أو في دور مشابه، ويفضل في بيئة فندقية أو ضيافة.
• معرفة قوية بالمحاسبة المتعلقة بالتكاليف، إدارة المخزون، وعمليات إعداد الميزانية.
• خبرة في استخدام برامج إدارة الفنادق وإجادة Microsoft Excel.
• مهارات تحليلية وحل المشكلات الممتازة مع الاهتمام بالتفاصيل.
• مهارات تواصل بين الأشخاص قوية، والقدرة على العمل عبر الأقسام.
• القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط والتعامل مع مهام متعددة في نفس الوقت.
• معرفة بمعايير وممارسات صناعة الضيافة.
