We are looking for a passionate and dedicated PYP Homeroom Teacher to join our school in April 2025. This role offers an exciting opportunity to nurture student learning through engaging and well-structured lessons while fostering academic, physical, socio-emotional, and ethical growth. The ideal candidate will also promote respect and understanding of Qatari culture.
Responsibilities
- Plan, teach, and assess meaningful and globally relevant learning experiences.
- Differentiate instruction to cater to individual student needs within the IB PYP framework.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
- Engage in student activities beyond the classroom and participate in school events.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development, including interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary units.
- Utilize inquiry-based learning approaches to promote critical thinking.
- Integrate technology to enhance students’ learning experiences.
- Provide regular feedback to students and encourage self-reflection on their progress.
Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification relevant to the role.
- Proficiency in ICT and digital learning tools.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably in an IB PYP school.
- Fluency in English (Arabic and Spanish are desirable).
- Additional qualifications such as a master’s degree or dual degrees are highly valued.
- International teaching experience is an advantage.
- While IB PYP experience is preferred, outstanding candidates without prior IB experience will be considered.

- دمج التكنولوجيا لدعم وتحسين تجربة التعلم.
- تقديم ملاحظات منتظمة للطلاب وتشجيعهم على التأمل في تقدمهم.
المتطلبات
- مؤهل تعليمي معتمد يتناسب مع الوظيفة.
- إتقان تقنيات المعلومات والاتصالات (ICT) في التعليم.
- خبرة تدريسية ذات صلة، ويفضل في بيئة IB PYP.
- إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية (يفضل أيضًا إتقان العربية أو الإسبانية).
- يُفضل حاملو درجات الماجستير أو الدرجات المزدوجة.
- تعتبر الخبرة الدولية في التدريس ميزة إضافية.
- يفضل خبرة سابقة في برنامج IB PYP، لكن سيتم النظر في المرشحين المتميزين بدون خبرة سابقة.
