Position: Senior Reporting & Budgeting Accountant
Industry Preference: Construction / Infrastructure / Oil and Gas
Working Hours: 10 hours per day / 6 days a week
Location: North Lusail, Qatar

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualifications preferred).

Experience:

• 5-7 years of relevant experience with extensive exposure to financial consolidation in a construction or project-based environment.
• Strong understanding of financials in the construction industry, project accounting, and cost management.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in financial consolidation software (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, Microsoft Office).
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.

Skills:

• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably within the construction or project-based industries.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate the financial consolidation process for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights on variances, trends, and key financial metrics.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with project managers, department heads, and senior management.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models for forecasting purposes.
• Provide ongoing forecasts and financial insights to support decision-making.
• Monitor construction project budgets and ensure cost alignment with projections.

Financial Consolidation:

• Manage the consolidation of financial statements across multiple business units and entities, including joint ventures and subsidiaries.
• Ensure accurate elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
• Perform detailed reconciliations between consolidated results and individual entity results.

Financial Analysis & Strategic Support:

• Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost control, efficiency improvements, and investment opportunities.
• Work closely with project managers and leadership to evaluate the financial health of ongoing and future construction projects.
• Assist with financial modeling for business decisions, including project viability assessments and cash flow projections.

Compliance & Internal Controls:

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Support the development and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

التعليم:

• درجة البكالوريوس في المحاسبة، المالية، أو أي مجال ذي صلة (يفضل الحاصلون على CPA أو ACCA أو شهادات مهنية مماثلة).

الخبرة:

• خبرة لا تقل عن 5-7 سنوات في دور مشابه، مع خبرة كبيرة في التوحيد المالي في بيئة مشاريع البناء أو المشاريع الكبرى.
• معرفة قوية بالمجال المالي لقطاع الإنشاءات، المحاسبة المتعلقة بالمشاريع، وإدارة التكاليف.
• خبرة مثبتة في إعداد التقارير المالية، الميزانية، والتوقعات المالية.
• إتقان برامج التوحيد المالي (مثل JD Edwards، SAP، Microsoft Office).
• معرفة معمقة بالمعايير الدولية لإعداد التقارير المالية IFRS والمعايير المحاسبية المحلية.

المهارات:

• تنسيق عمليات التوحيد المالي لعدة كيانات وضمان الدقة والامتثال للمعايير المحاسبية.
• الإشراف على إعداد البيانات المالية وفقًا لمعايير IFRS.
• تحليل الأداء المالي وتقديم التعليقات للإدارة العليا حول التباينات والاتجاهات والمؤشرات المالية الرئيسية.

إعداد الميزانية والتوقعات المالية:

• قيادة عملية إعداد الميزانية السنوية بالتعاون مع مديري المشاريع ورؤساء الأقسام والإدارة العليا.
• تطوير وصيانة نماذج مالية تفصيلية لأغراض التوقعات المالية.
• توفير تحديثات وتوقعات مالية مستمرة لدعم عملية اتخاذ القرار.
• مراقبة ميزانيات المشاريع الإنشائية وضمان توافق التكاليف مع التوقعات.

التوحيد المالي:

• إدارة عملية توحيد البيانات المالية عبر وحدات الأعمال المتعددة، بما في ذلك المشاريع المشتركة والشركات التابعة.
• ضمان الدقة في إلغاء المعاملات والأرصدة البينية بين الشركات المختلفة.
• تنفيذ تسويات تفصيلية بين البيانات الموحدة ونتائج كل كيان على حدة.
