We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Birkat Al Awamer, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and negotiating with vendors locally and internationally, obtaining competitive pricing, and preparing customer quotations. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to ensure cost-effective procurement and timely responses to client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and engage with vendors and suppliers in Qatar and internationally.
• Request, compare, and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Prepare and submit quotations to customers based on vendor pricing.
• Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and alternative supply sources.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement and order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier negotiations, pricing, and procurement activities.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of local and international supplier markets.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  Job Details:
  A well-established company specializing in stainless steel and metals fabrication is looking for an Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Candidates must hold a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Word, as well as knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD. Strong oral and written communication, planning, and presentation skills are required.

  Applicants must be capable of independent work, from material take-off and raw material sourcing to final estimation compilation.

  Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret tender/bid documents, including drawings, BOQs, specifications, and other related materials.
  • Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as required.
  • Identify queries and submit technical clarifications as necessary.
  • Prepare bill of materials and material take-offs from drawings.
  • Obtain and analyze sub-supplier and sub-vendor pricing for outsourced products and services.
  • Calculate equipment, labor, and consumable requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates.
  • Develop a preliminary schedule for tender submission.
  • Prepare final cost summaries for management approval while ensuring adherence to pricing guidelines.
  • Assist with tender document preparation and submission.
  • Attend tender clarification meetings, site visits, and price revision discussions as needed.
  • Review contract agreements and project schedules during the award phase.
