1. AC Technician
Job Description:
- Perform and carry out the hotel preventive maintenance plan for all the HVAC equipment that includes cleaning and lubricating the equipment.
- Respond immediately to the guest complaints.
- Maintain charging equipment, refrigeration test equipment, and HVAC tools in good condition.
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings in case of emergency.
- Follow all job instructions given by Shift Engineer or other Senior Staffs.
- Report any serious maintenance problem or safety related issues to Shift Engineer immediately.
- Follow duty schedule/Split duty and carry out any other assignment given by Chief engineer as business demand.
- Understand control principles of all HVAC and refrigeration systems and regularly test, repair, and calibrate.
- Verify building area temperatures and adjust as necessary and record on the Duty Log sheet.
- Communicate each day’s activities and problems that occur to the other shift using approved communication programs and standards.
- Complete major and minor services on A/C and refrigeration equipment as assigned and return the completed job sheets to the Engineering Office.
- Thoroughly investigate each job as assigned to ensure that only the necessary spare parts are used and to avoid unnecessary wastage of AC and refrigeration supplies.
- Follow up company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment. Attend all departmental trainings and other training program.
- Report work-related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to the shift in charge.
- Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and use correct lifting procedures as necessary to avoid injury. Follow hazardous Material management program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals etc. using material safety data sheets. Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to Shift in charge. Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines. Complete appropriate Fire and safety training and certifications to perform work tasks.
- To be available for any emergencies and act in a professional manner to protect the Guests, Staff and preserve the Hotel Property and its system. Follow Hotel Crises plan.
- Complete the personal daily job record book accurately and keep ready for inspection.
- Participate in new equipment installation projects.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Follow the clean as you go policy. Keep all his working areas neat and tidy. Store all his tools and materials in a safe and secure place. While working in the Guest and public areas, special attention is required to protect surrounding areas from any damage and inconvenience to the guests. During the site work do not leave any materials and tools unattended.
Skills:
- Must be able to comprehend the building automation system operation, alarm, and functionality.
- Must be able to troubleshoot & repair A/C and refrigeration systems when necessary.
- Must be able to display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in the following categories: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, energy conservation, and/or general building.
- Must be able to test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items.
2. Waiter/Waitress
Job Description:
- Greets guests and presents them with the menu.
- Informs guests about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.
- Suggest food and beverages to the guest and try to upsell.
- Take food and beverage orders from the guest on the order taking pads or on the handheld Point of sale (POS) system.
- Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by Supervisor.
- Filling in for absent staff as needed.
- Punch the order on the POS machine and make sure to enter the special requirements made by the guest while ordering the food. Eg: No Garlic, less spicy etc., Without egg etc.
- Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with their queries.
- Co - ordinate with the bus person, kitchen staff, bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
- Server food and beverage to the guest as per the course of order.
- Observes guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
- Promptly respond to guest with any additional request.
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
- Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customer's table.
Skills:
- preferably with 4* - 5* star Hotel Experience or Restaurant operation experience
- Knowledge in Basic HACCP/Food Safety

3. Banquet Waitress
Job Description:
- Review and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) or Event Plans at the beginning of each shift to ensure banquet rooms are set as per the customer’s request.
- Read and execute specifications listed on the Banquet Event Orders.
- Attend all pre-shift meetings to ensure events flow smoothly.
- Be in communication with the Banquet Captain regarding any functional needs.
- Assist in ensuring that each event is on time as per the banquet event course.
- Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages as stated in the Banquet Event Order.
- Make required adjustments as needed and relay that information to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses.
- Have a good understanding and able to communicate products and service-related queries to guests when asked.
- Deliver and serve welcome drinks, food, meals, condiments, and accompaniments, etc.
- Delivering Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic drinks for service to your customer’s table.
- Properly open and pour wine at the table side.
- Good knowledge of the rules of Banquet Beverage Control and service.
- Take beverage orders and collect payments where specified.
- Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts, dessert tables/carts, and cordial carts.
- Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.
- Remove China, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables after the meal period and deliver them to the stewarding area.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
- Respond to and try to fulfill any special banquet event arrangements.
- Ensure each courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed.
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor.
- Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
- Attend tables by removing and separating tableware, plateware, glassware, and flatware.
- Ensure proper use and storage of all meeting room equipment.
- Ensure there is proper backup if any equipment is not properly functioning.
- Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Meeting Rooms.
- Pass any information that is needed to the next staff member on duty.

- If no upcoming events, please have rooms in a readiness position for any possible site inspections.

- Ensure that meeting rooms are re-set for the next event.

- Proven work experience as a Banquet Waitress.
