• Completion of a National Registry exam by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Cardiovascular Technology, Cardiac Electrophysiology, or equivalent cardiovascular national, regional, and international credential boards.
• Current, valid, home country license covering years of experience (Overseas candidates).
• Current, valid, license to practise as a Cardiovascular Technologist in Qatar.
• Accurate and precise conduction of a variety of Cardiovascular diagnostics test, in children and adults.
• Ability to report and discuss findings with referring physicians to aid in accurate and timely diagnosis/treatment.
• Equipment Calibration.
• Ability to explain and calm anxious or nervous patients.
• Evidence of appropriate continued professional development.
• Proficiency in the administration of standardised outcome measure testing applicable to area of work.
• Expertise in the application of evidence-based practice.
• Understanding of robust documentation practices and the use of an EMR.
• Previous experience working in a multi -disciplinary care team.
• Ability to work without supervision in the diagnostic and rehabilitation areas.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as medical office software.
• Sound knowledge of health insurance providers.
• Deep knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management within Billing, Collections, and Remittance posting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Billing/Coding certification(s) preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of payer websites, processes, local, state, and federal requirements

• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care set by QCHP, and other governing agency regulations.
• Provides basic assessment skills to assess the signs, symptoms, reactions, behaviors, or general appearance to determine normal versus abnormal characteristics.
• Delivers safe and appropriate patient care to a specific patient population using nursing process.
• Provides direct and indirect care services, including, but not limited to, the administration of medications and therapeutic agents necessary to implement treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitative plan of care.
• Performs skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and the initiation of peripheral venous access.
• Observes signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to medications/treatments, general behavior, and/or general physical condition.

• Provides highly specialist, critically reasoned and holistic, Optometry assessments, for inpatients and outpatients, referred with varying complexities encompassing physical, psychological, emotional, and social aspects. 
• Acts as a primary healthcare practitioner of the eye and visual system, providing comprehensive eye and vision care, including refraction, fitting, and dispensing of corrective lenses, performing ophthalmic diagnostic tests and the rehabilitation of conditions of the visual system. 
• Provides goal orientated, evidence based and clinically reasoned treatment plans alone and in conjunction with an integrated team of physicians, nurses, and other Allied Health Professionals. 
• Provides effective and safe patient (and family) education to assist in management of and/or recovery. 
• Takes an active role within the development of the optometry service, delivering In-Service Training, facilitating/delivering the training and development of non-optometry staff, and sharing knowledge and skills where appropriate. 
• Manages own time and caseload with an awareness of the limitation of the service and a knowledge of specialist facilities and appropriate referral and provides support to colleagues and direct reports to manage their caseload. 
• Acts as a key figure within the organisation, in the provision of specialist knowledge and skill in the optometry assessment, management and treatment of patients, within a broad scope or defined clinical specialism. 
• Adheres to all departmental and facility wide policies, procedures, risk assessments and processes in the interests of maintaining a safe and effective work environment and promoting the highest quality patient care experience.
