 Quantity Surveyor Opportunity in Qatar: Join a Leading Construction Team! 

Details

We are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to manage and oversee cost management and quantity surveying for construction projects in Qatar. If you have experience in civil engineering and construction, and are proficient with cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract management, this is your chance to work on exciting projects in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • MRICS, AIQS, or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Civil QS roles, specifically in building, infrastructure, and construction projects.

  • Experience in Qatar or the GCC region is preferred.

Technical Knowledge

  • Proficient in quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, interim valuations, and final accounts.

  • In-depth understanding of Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and FIDIC contracts.

  • Ability to manage site measurements, progress claims, and handle contractual correspondence effectively.

Software Skills

  • Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost management software like Candy, Primavera, or BuildSmart.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional report writing abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
