Quality Control Site Technician for Readymix Company
Job Description:
Perform routine quality control tests on fresh concrete, including slump testing, temperature measurement, air content, and unit weight as per standard methods.
Conduct sampling and preparation of concrete cube specimens at site for compressive strength testing.
Ensure proper curing and documentation of concrete cube samples.
Monitor and record delivery conditions of concrete, including truck-mix times, temperature, and any admixture usage.
Identify and report any non-conformance or quality issues immediately to the QC Supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of all test results, inspections, and sampling activities.
Communicate effectively with batching plant personnel, site engineers,regarding concrete quality.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote safe working practices on-site.
Assist in periodic calibration and maintenance of testing equipment as required.
Support laboratory and batching plant staff in additional testing and reporting as needed.
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience in quality control of ready-mix concrete or construction materials testing.
