We are seeking an experienced Asian Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for authentic Asian cuisine and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook in a professional kitchen.
- Proficiency in Tamil or Sinhala (spoken and written) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine, including traditional cooking techniques and recipes.
- Ability to prepare and present a variety of Asian dishes, such as rice & curry, kottu, hoppers, string hoppers, sambols, and seafood dishes, with consistency and quality.
- Experience in maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Must be able to follow recipes and adapt to menu changes as required.
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
