Job Description:
• Ensure that all Rigging safety related practices and procedures are adhered too.
• Carry out all rigging activities to the required Specified Standards within the approved Procedures.
• Ensure that all lifting gears and rigging accessories are in good working order prior to use.
• Fully understand the working of all rigging equipment’s and their safety mechanisms.
• Ensure that all required PPE is worn during work time.
• Understand the different lifting gears / clamps specification and the application parameters.
• Understand what is meant by SWL and the requirement to work to these measurements.
• Understand the use and capacities of different cranes and forklifts.
• Participate in all safety related practices and TBT’s
• Highlight and safety concerns or violations to immediate supervisor.
• Understand the safety requirements highlighted on the various data sheets.
• Understand that he has the right to Stop the Job due to Safety Concerns
