1. Clinical Specialist Fellow (Sports Medicine)

Job Description

  • Sports medicine is a rapidly evolving, rich and rewarding multidisciplinary specialty which involves the care of athletes and active individuals. The Sports Physician provides a comprehensive service, from initial patient contact to formulating individual recommendations for sports and exercise participation, for those with injuries and medical conditions whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Aspetar’s Sports Medicine fellowship program was established in 2012; we have state-of-the art facilities and equipment and a large multidisciplinary team providing a unique opportunity for a Clinical Specialist Fellow in Sports Medicine to gain further clinical experience. The Fellow will develop a comprehensive range of sports medicine clinical skills, being exposed to a variety of athletes from different sporting codes, disciplines, ages, levels of participation, gender and ethnicity. 
  • Working in a multidisciplinary and unique multicultural environment, the Clinical Specialist Fellowship program includes educational and research opportunities as well as ongoing clinical mentorship to support well-rounded clinicians and future leaders in the field of sports medicine.

2. Medical Technologist

Job Description

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations in the Microbiology laboratory.
  • Performs a variety of microbiological procedures to cultivate, isolate, enumerate and identify microorganisms in clinical specimens.
  • Conducts routine and specialized microbiological procedures, including bacteriological, mycological, and parasitological.
  • Perform tests on body fluids such as blood, urine, synovial fluid etc...
  • Ability to perform the sensitivity and resistance of specific pathogens to a wide range of antimicrobial agents.
  • Records, analyze and interpret microbiological results.
  • Performs and documents daily, weekly, and monthly Quality Control.
  • Operates, cleans, and maintains laboratory equipment used in microbiological procedures.
  • Communicates laboratory test results to physicians and Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) team. 
  • Makes effort to conduct/participate in scientific research in the field of medical microbiology and/or infectious diseases.
  • Provides education and training in the field of medical microbiology and infectious diseases to colleagues, healthcare workers and employees working both within and outside the institution.

3. Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

  • Provision of general Pharmacy services for patients and athletes in the hospital and clinics under the supervision of Pharmacists. Prepare orders for Sports Federations / Clubs and clinics.
  • Distribute medication through the ADC system. Assist Pharmacist in procurement.
  • Participation in dispensing of medication for patients and athletes.
  • Assisting the inventory officer in maintaining optimal stock levels and monitoring expiry dates closely. Ensuring medications are stored appropriately and securely.
  • Responsible for the re-packaging of medications. For aseptic admixture service, be involved in the preparation of some special formulations.
  • Assist Pharmacists in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist Pharmacists in preparing educational material for outpatient and athlete clients under the supervision of Pharmacists.
  • Provision of practical training of other new hired Technicians. Update current skills and knowledge in relevant practice areas as required.
  • Participation in any internal or external courses / meetings as required. Assure adherence to the hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Prepares Pharmacy Policy and Procedures and makes revisions as required and instructed. Participation in physical stock checks within the Pharmacy.
  • Keeping records of monthly reports on dispensing activities and other relevant workload statistics.
  • Maintain recording keeping of Pharmacy Quality Records, including daily cleaning of equipment and facilities.
  • Maintains the Pharmacy safety programs including safe handling and storage of drugs, proper disposal of expired products and chemicals, and mechanisms to reduce medication events.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and proper storage of patient prescription records.

Job Description

  • Develop operational and clinical protocols, policies, and work processes to guide decision-making on the dental process of planning, implementation, control and evaluation of clinical care and procedures.
  • Conduct audit and review records for accuracy and conformance to policies.
  • Plan and supervise meetings and expenses, revenues, advertising, travel accommodation arrangement, advertising & promotional.

  • يقوم بإجراء مجموعة متنوعة من الإجراءات الميكروبيولوجية لزراعة وعزل وتحديد الكائنات الحية الدقيقة في العينات السريرية.
  • يقوم بإجراء الإجراءات الميكروبيولوجية الروتينية والمتخصصة، بما في ذلك الإجراءات البكتريولوجية والفطرية والطفيلية.
  • إجراء اختبارات على سوائل الجسم مثل الدم والبول والسائل الزليلي وما إلى ذلك.

  • تقديم خدمات الصيدلة العامة للمرضى والرياضيين في المستشفى والعيادات تحت إشراف صيادلة متخصصين. إعداد طلبات الاتحادات/الأندية الرياضية والعيادات.
  • توزيع الأدوية عبر نظام ADC. مساعدة الصيدلي في عملية الشراء.
  • المشاركة في صرف الأدوية للمرضى والرياضيين.
  • مساعدة مسؤول الجرد في الحفاظ على مستويات المخزون المثلى ومراقبة تواريخ انتهاء الصلاحية بدقة، والتأكد من تخزين الأدوية بشكل مناسب وآمن.
  • مسؤول عن إعادة تعبئة الأدوية. بالنسبة لخدمات الخلطات المعقمة، شارك في تحضير بعض التركيبات الخاصة.
  • مساعدة الصيادلة في تطوير وتنفيذ ومراقبة وتقييم السياسات والإجراءات الإدارية.
  • مساعدة الصيادلة في إعداد المواد التعليمية للمرضى الخارجيين والرياضيين تحت إشراف الصيادلة.
