Material & Corrosion Engineer

Your Responsibilities:
Oversee the Corrosion Section, managing personnel and financial responsibilities.
Implement training policies and ensure the execution of corrosion monitoring programs.
Supervise the Corrosion Laboratory and ensure equipment maintenance.
Review and analyze monitoring results, providing feedback to senior engineers.
Offer expertise in Cathodic Protection, attending project meetings and reviewing specifications.
Produce regular and ad-hoc reports and assist in software development for data analysis.
Manage budget preparation and material orders.
Act as Duty Inspector on rotation and cover for the Sr. Corrosion Engineer when needed.
Stay updated on the latest corrosion control technologies.
Additional Duties:
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
Prepare technical reports and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with international standards and design software.
Strong technical, communication, and leadership skills.
What We’re Looking For:
🎓 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering.
💼 10 - 12 + years of offshore experience in materials and corrosion engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
🗣️ Expertise in material selection and corrosion control strategies for high sour environments.

Your Responsibilities:
Design & Analysis:
Develop structural engineering designs, detailed analysis, and validation for subsea structures (manifolds, foundations, risers, offshore platforms, jackets, pipeline supports, and brownfield modifications).Fabrication & Installation Planning:
Create detailed fabrication and installation plans focused on subsea systems, including structural frameworks, equipment supports, and integration with piping and E&I systems.Oversight & Coordination:
Oversee fabrication operations, ensuring technical standards, quality, project budget, and timelines are met.
Proactively identify potential issues and implement swift solutions to minimize downtime.Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare detailed engineering status reports, performance metrics, and technical documentation.
Conduct subcontractor performance reviews and validate subsea-specific deliverables.Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Material Control, and Offshore Construction teams for seamless project execution and resource management.
What We’re Looking For:
🎓 Degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
💼 Proven expertise in subsea structural design, fabrication, and installation, with extensive offshore project experience.
🛠️ Proficiency in MS Office, structural engineering design tools, and subsea-specific processes.
