Field Service Engineer
Details
As a Field Service Engineer, you will become a trusted expert and advisor for Gas Processing Adsorbents, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting services for UOP customers within the NG & Petrochemicals industries. You will work closely with sales teams, offer field support during customer loading, startup, restart, or troubleshooting, and maintain strong relationships with customer teams. Your work will involve reviewing and analyzing operational data, preparing technical presentations, and training operators.
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting services for molecular sieve & alumina products.

Offer field support for customer loading, startup, restart, or troubleshooting of adsorption units.
-
Review, analyze, and prepare data reports in accordance with service agreements.
-
Maintain close working relationships with customer technical and operations teams.
-
Conduct breakthrough tests on UOP adsorbent units.
-
Understand engineering documents related to gas plants (e.g., P&ID, PFD, GA drawings) and use engineering software (e.g., Hysis or Unisim).

Prepare technical presentations and operator training materials at customer sites.
-
Provide background and detailed test strategy to lab personnel and report results to customers.
Qualifications
-
University education in Chemical Engineering.
-
Strong technical knowledge in adsorbents or related technologies.
-
4-5 years’ experience with gas processing technologies (NG or Steam Crackers) including dryers in a technical support or operations role.

Experience with UOP adsorbents in gas plants is a plus.
-
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-
Ability to travel (~50%) and work independently or as part of a team.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

تقديم الخبرة الفنية وخدمات حل المشكلات لمنتجات sieve الجزيئي والألومينا.

تقديم الدعم الميداني عند تحميل العملاء، أو بدء التشغيل، أو إعادة التشغيل أو حل المشكلات لوحدات الامتصاص.

مراجعة وتحليل البيانات وإعداد تقارير في إطار اتفاقيات الخدمة.

الحفاظ على علاقة عمل وثيقة مع فرق العملاء الفنية والتشغيلية.

إجراء اختبارات الاختراق على وحدات المواد الممتصة.

فهم الوثائق الهندسية المتعلقة بمحطات الغاز مثل P&ID و PFD و GA، واستخدام البرمجيات الهندسية (مثل Hysis أو Unisim).

إعداد العروض الفنية ومواد تدريب المشغلين في مواقع العملاء.
-
توفير الاستراتيجية التفصيلية للاختبار وتوجيه الأفراد في المختبر، ومتابعة التقدم وتقديم النتائج للعملاء.

خبرة من 4 إلى 5 سنوات في تقنيات معالجة الغاز (NG أو Steam Crackers) بما في ذلك المجففات في دعم تقني أو دور عمليات.

الخبرة مع المواد الممتصة من UOP في محطات الغاز تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

مهارات قوية في حل المشكلات وحل المشكلات.
