The Opportunity

Our GCR tax service line operates as a team of highly experienced tax professionals who focus on delivering efficient and effective resources to companies in the region. Our goal is to improve quality, manage risk, create efficiency and drive value. Our market-leading approach combines standard and efficient processes, highly effective tools, and an extensive network of local tax and accounting professionals. Our clients benefit from an integrated, consistent, and flexible quality service to address direct and indirect tax compliance, statutory accounting and financial reporting, and tax accounting.

As part of a MENA team, you will provide high quality services to clients across a range of industries. You will oversee service delivery, coordination, issue resolution, and contract management of large-scale projects where you will execute the delivery of tax services by EY teams in the region.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with tax and accounting professionals to deliver clients’ compliance and reporting needs.

• Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with clients ensuring high standards and timely service.

• Manage day-to-day execution of client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, and participate in standardized processes.

• Identify risks, escalate issues, and follow performance improvement plans.

• Support marketing and business development initiatives to grow the GCR client base.

• Assist with fee gathering for corporate income tax, indirect tax, statutory accounts preparation, and bookkeeping.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Excellent communicator and detail-oriented professional comfortable working across borders and with large data sets.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or related fields.

• Preferably MBA, Masters, or professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax compliance, financial reporting, and ERP systems.

• Experience with multinational clients and multicultural environments is a plus.

• Strong analytical, management, leadership, organization, and time management skills.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

About the Role

1. Expert Consultant in OT and ICS Cybersecurity – Join EY

Job Description:

EY is seeking a passionate Cyber OT (Operational Technologies), Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security, and IoT expert to join a world-leading practice focused on protecting mission-critical systems and national critical infrastructures. This role is crucial in safeguarding some of the world’s leading organizations from cyber threats beyond traditional IT. The successful candidate will work closely with regional cyber leadership and must possess strong OT/ICS security knowledge and skills.

As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, you will support the preparation of solutions for moderately to highly complex projects, assist in client presentations, design proposals, and be involved in on-site and off-site delivery. You will contribute innovative insights, adapt methods to operational and cultural needs, and support clear packaging of project findings.

Reporting to the AIM Cyber Security leadership, you will act as a subject matter expert in OT/ICS Cyber Security topics aligned with EY’s strategy. Strong communication with EY’s managers, directors, and partners is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in OT/ICS cybersecurity transformations and long-term strategies.
