Required jobs in Etihad Steel Factory and their details:

1. QA/QC Inspector

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for QAQC documents and submitals.
  • Responsible for fit-up inspection-related activities on the fabrication stage in compliance with the project specification.
  • Responsible for welding & NDT inspection-related activities on the welding stage in compliance with the project specification.
  • Carry out various types of inspection such as dimension inspection, visual inspection, joint inspection, fit-up assembly inspection, hole location & orientation inspection, visual inspection, weld visual inspection, and in-house NDT inspection.
  • Responsible for Painting inspections

Qualifications:

  • Certifications required: CSWIP 3.1, BGAS-CSWIP Paint Inspector, ASNT NDT atleast MPI
  • Graduate in any discipline with a quality assurance / mechanical engineering diploma from a recognized university.
  • Number of experiences: 5/10 years & above.

2. Structural Engineer

Under the direct supervision of the Design Supervisor, this job is generally responsible for Designs and Estimates of steel buildings.

Person Specifications:

  • University degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience in steel design and two to three years previous experience in PEB
  • A good knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to guide draftsmen
  • Ability to correctly apply all major building codes and design standards used, American, British Standards and Eurocode
  • Ability to correctly apply computerized analyses and designs to the engineering of complex structures
  • Ability to independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications
  • A sufficient knowledge of PEB’s manufacturing practices
  • The maturity and ability to effectively meet with customers and properly communicate PEB’s standard practices
  • Ability to coordinate and handle big projects as a team leader
  • Ability to guide, organize and supervise a team of Engineers
  • Ability to take charge of Group Supervisor in his absence

List of Responsibilities:

  • Designs buildings and structures assigned to him using building codes, design standards, specifications and procedures adopted in PEB.
  • Prepares design and estimates for the high complexity buildings. Estimates are done in a timely manner as set by the Group’s Supervisor.
  • Guide draftsmen for preparing approval drawings for complex projects.
  • Works closely with the design checker and the Drafting/Detailing Checker to ensure his work is error-free.
  • Reviews, evaluates and interprets structural engineering requirements in light of standard parts usage and minimum in-place cost.
  • Recommends solutions for design problems to the Group Supervisor that will improve the design and drafting efficiency.
  • Responsible for the structural integrity of all of his designs.
  • Ensures that all designs maximize standard parts usage and are in accordance with good engineering practices.
  • Acts as a team leader for handling big projects and guide his team ensuring proper coordination and timely completion of project.
  • Take charge of the Group in the absence of Group Supervisor.
  • Shoulders any other assignment entrusted upon him by the Supervisor and Manager

1.  مفتش ضمان الجودة ومراقبة الجودة

المسؤوليات:

  • المسؤول عن مستندات ووثائق مراقبة الجودة والمطابقة.
  • المسؤول عن أنشطة التفتيش المتعلقة بالتجهيز في مرحلة التصنيع بما يتوافق مع مواصفات المشروع.
  • المسؤول عن أنشطة اللحام والتفتيش غير المدمر في مرحلة اللحام بما يتوافق مع مواصفات المشروع.
  • تنفيذ أنواع مختلفة من التفتيش مثل فحص الأبعاد، والتفتيش البصري، وتفتيش المفاصل، وتفتيش تجميع التركيب، وتفتيش موقع الفتحة والتوجيه، والتفتيش البصري، وتفتيش اللحام البصري، وتفتيش NDT الداخلي.
  • المسؤول عن عمليات تفتيش اللوحات

المؤهلات:

  • الشهادات المطلوبة: CSWIP 3.1، مفتش طلاء BGAS-CSWIP، ASNT NDT MPI على الأقل
  • خريج في أي تخصص مع دبلوم ضمان الجودة / الهندسة الميكانيكية من جامعة معترف بها.
  • عدد الخبرات: 5/10 سنوات فما فوق.

2.  مهندس إنشائي

تحت الإشراف المباشر لمشرف التصميم، تكون هذه الوظيفة مسؤولة بشكل عام عن تصميم وتقديرات المباني الفولاذية.

مواصفات الشخص:

  • درجة جامعية في الهندسة المدنية
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في تصميم الصلب وخبرة سابقة تتراوح من سنتين إلى ثلاث سنوات في PEB
  • معرفة جيدة ببرنامج AutoCAD والقدرة على توجيه الرسامين
  • القدرة على تطبيق جميع معايير البناء الرئيسية ومعايير التصميم المستخدمة بشكل صحيح، والمعايير الأمريكية والبريطانية واليورو كود
  • القدرة على تطبيق التحليلات والتصميمات المحوسبة بشكل صحيح على هندسة الهياكل المعقدة
  • القدرة على تقييم واختيار وتطبيق التقنيات والإجراءات والمعايير الهندسية القياسية بشكل مستقل، باستخدام الحكم في إجراء التعديلات والتغييرات
  • معرفة كافية بممارسات التصنيع الخاصة بشركة PEB
  • النضج والقدرة على مقابلة العملاء بشكل فعال والتواصل بشكل صحيح بشأن ممارسات PEB القياسية
  • القدرة على التنسيق والتعامل مع المشاريع الكبيرة كقائد فريق
  • القدرة على التوجيه والتنظيم والإشراف على فريق من المهندسين

قائمة المسؤوليات:

  • يقوم بتصميم المباني والمنشآت المخصصة له باستخدام قوانين البناء ومعايير التصميم والمواصفات والإجراءات المعتمدة في PEB.
  • إعداد التصاميم والتقديرات للمباني عالية التعقيد. تُنجز التقديرات في الوقت المحدد وفقًا لما يحدده مشرف المجموعة.
  • توجيه الرسامين لإعداد الرسومات المعتمدة للمشاريع المعقدة.
  • يتعاون بشكل وثيق مع مدقق التصميم ومدقق الرسم والتفصيل لضمان خلو عمله من الأخطاء.
  • يقوم بمراجعة وتقييم وتفسير متطلبات الهندسة الإنشائية في ضوء استخدام الأجزاء القياسية والحد الأدنى من التكلفة في الموقع.
  • يوصي بالحلول لمشاكل التصميم إلى مشرف المجموعة والتي من شأنها تحسين كفاءة التصميم والرسم.
  • المسؤول عن سلامة البنية التحتية لجميع تصميماته.
  • ضمان أن جميع التصاميم تحقق أقصى استفادة من الأجزاء القياسية وتتوافق مع ممارسات الهندسة الجيدة.
  • يعمل كقائد فريق للتعامل مع المشاريع الكبيرة ويرشد فريقه لضمان التنسيق المناسب وإكمال المشروع في الوقت المناسب.
