Process Chemist
Primary Purpose
Ensure the analytical integrity of testing and analysis activities and perform special projects as directed by the Manager Laboratory in support of operations at Ras Laffan gas production plant and facilities.
Responsibilities
-
Perform various laboratory activities following established testing methods and instructions.
-
Lead tests and analyses requiring significant technical expertise.
-
Execute special projects related to process troubleshooting as directed by the Head of Laboratory.
-
Receive work schedules and instructions from the Manager Laboratory and ensure Lab Analysts adhere to specific instructions, work methods, procedures, and QHSE standards.
-
Direct laboratory workflow to ensure all tests are conducted as scheduled.
-
Ensure analytical integrity by periodically reviewing analysts’ procedural adherence, sampling techniques, and solution preparation calculations.
-
Perform and record results of routine Quality Control samples, assess compliance via statistical analysis.
-
Ensure timely data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System and report results accordingly.

Well Integrity Specialist
Primary Purpose
Manage and coordinate well integrity assurance throughout the well lifecycle; ensure SECE (Safety, Environmental, and Corporate Excellence) assurance and its verification are performed as per WIMS (Well Integrity Management System). Schedule and conduct well integrity testing and update e-WIMS accordingly. Perform root cause analysis of mechanical issues identified during well integrity reviews and recommend improvements, including material selection. Assist in ensuring overall well integrity. Participate in well intervention operations during annual reservoir well logging campaigns as needed.

Schedule well integrity testing plans and record data in e-WIMS and SAP.

Generate monthly and annual well integrity reports for all DEL operated wells.
-
Coordinate well integrity anomaly investigations, assist in investigation programs, and oversee restoration of well barrier anomalies.

Ensure SECE assurance and verification align with WIMS and AI Department procedures.
-
Monitor well parameters regularly and report anomalies to the Manager of Well Services and Senior Manager Onshore & Offshore Installation and Reservoir.
-
Review well designs using deterministic, probabilistic, or other models.
-
Recommend protective measures to prevent casing corrosion and optimize cathodic protection in cemented conductor casing strings.

إدارة وتنسيق ضمان سلامة الآبار خلال دورة حياة البئر؛ التأكد من تنفيذ ضمان السلامة البيئية والتفوق المؤسسي (SECE) والتحقق منه وفقًا لنظام إدارة سلامة الآبار (WIMS). جدولة وإجراء اختبارات سلامة الآبار وتحديث نظام e-WIMS بشكل مناسب. إجراء تحليل الأسباب الجذرية للمشاكل الميكانيكية المكتشفة أثناء مراجعات سلامة الآبار، وتقديم توصيات لتحسين اختيار المواد والمساعدة في ضمان سلامة الآبار بشكل عام. المشاركة في عمليات تدخل الآبار عند الحاجة خلال حملات تسجيل الآبار السنوية.
