Job Title: Estimator

Job Summary:

The Estimator is responsible for preparing realistic, accurate, and competitive job cost estimates for quotations and tenders based on inquiries received. The role involves timely receipt of inquiries and preparation of estimates using the company’s proprietary estimation system.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive contract inquiries, review, and develop an action plan to price inquiries within the requested deadline.

• Follow through on client inquiries and clarify scope to ensure quote accuracy aligned with client instructions and expectations.

• Liaise with line manager and team members to develop the overall tender strategy.

• Send inquiries to the supply chain to ensure best prices by selecting the most suitable suppliers/manufacturers for the project.

• Request support from other individuals in the organization to produce quality submissions as dictated by the inquiry/RFQ.

• Analyze supply chain quotes and negotiate the best costs with knowledge of raw material costs and manufacturing rates across economies.

• Review terms and conditions and compare with basic tender practices.

• Prepare tender analysis information and present it professionally for internal analysis and client presentation.

• Detail costs sufficiently to enable contract review.

وصف الدور:

المُقدّر مسؤول عن إعداد تقديرات تكلفة المشاريع بدقة واقعية وتنافسية، بهدف تقديم عروض الأسعار والمناقصات بناءً على الطلبات الواردة. يتطلب الدور متابعة الطلبات واستلامها في الوقت المناسب وإعداد التقديرات باستخدام نظام التقدير الخاص بالشركة.

المهام والمسؤوليات:

• استلام طلبات العقود، مراجعتها، ووضع خطة عمل لتسعير الطلبات ضمن المهلة المحددة.

• متابعة الطلبات مع العملاء لتوضيح نطاق العمل وتحقيق دقة في العرض بما يتماشى مع تعليمات العميل وتوقعاته.

• التنسيق مع المدير المباشر وأعضاء الفريق لوضع استراتيجية شاملة للمناقصة.

• إرسال الطلبات إلى سلسلة التوريد لضمان الحصول على أفضل الأسعار عبر اختيار الموردين والمصانع الأنسب للمشروع.

• طلب الدعم من أفراد آخرين في الشركة لإعداد البرامج وتقديم العروض ذات الجودة العالية كما هو مطلوب في الطلب.

• تحليل عروض سلسلة التوريد والتفاوض للحصول على أفضل الأسعار مع معرفة تكاليف المواد الخام وأسعار التصنيع في الأسواق المختلفة.

• مراجعة الشروط والأحكام المقدمة ومقارنتها بممارسات المناقصات الأساسية.

• إعداد وتحليل بيانات المناقصات وتقديمها بشكل مهني للتحليل الداخلي والعرض على العميل.

• تفصيل التكاليف بما يكفي لتمكين مراجعة العقد.
