1. Senior Instrument Designer

Responsibilities:
- Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment.
- Installation layouts (Instrument Location layouts, Air distribution, Main Cable Routing, Secondary cable tray). Building Layouts (Control Room Equipment layout, Earthing layout, Telecom layout). Instrument standard installation / Hookups and Cable block diagram
- Loop drawing, wiring diagram in 2D as well as in SPI (SPI is not mandatory; however preferred)
- Ensures effective communications and coordination among members of the discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team.
- Performs layouts, design, and checking work from the basic data supplied.
- Establishes project drafting standards and monitors their conformance.
- Ensures quality in design, and technical accuracy in the preparation of drawings, material quantities, etc. including reviewing others' work at more senior levels
Skills / Qualifications:
- Diploma in a relevant discipline (Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control, Electrical / Electronics)
- Good command over Autocad and Microstation
- Minimum 10 years experience with a minimum of 5 years in EPC jobs.
- Minimum of 5 years proven capability in an engineering design company
- Experience with FEED, Detailed design and EPC projects
- Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas
- Communication skills (excellent command of both spoken and written English)

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure team adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory standards, and client specifications.
- Support the standardization of specifications, drawings, and document templates.
- Provide analytical input on technical solutions where appropriate.
- Apply local and international standards to maintain technical excellence.
- Conduct and support design checks, peer reviews, and integration of feedback.
- Supervise and guide Electrical designers and draftsmen in project execution.
- Understand project scope, budget, and schedule; support the team in meeting objectives and coordinate with other disciplines to ensure overall success.
- Monitoring quality, conducting squad checks, recommending improvements, and implementing corrective actions.
- Support the project team with proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules.
- Manage Electrical design activities and design changes within budget and schedule constraints.
- Prepare and participate in Electrical discipline meetings, compile progress reports, and ensure compliance with checking procedures.
- Review, validate, and approve technical documents in coordination with the team
- Perform power system studies in ETAP, including load flow, short circuit, motor starting, harmonics, and power factor correction.
- Prepare load lists, single-line diagrams, Cable sizing calculations and Cable schedules
- Design inputs for electrical equipment layouts and cable routing plans (duct banks, trays, trenches, cellars) for substations and other facilities.
- Perform and review equipment sizing calculations (Capacitors, transformers, DG sets, UPS System, lighting (DIALux), earthing and lightning protection.
- Review lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection layouts, and distribution board schedules.
- Preparing Material Take Off
- Preparing Specifications, datasheets and Material requisition for all the Electrical Equipment
- Provide technical evaluations of bidder proposals, including layouts, site preparations, and compliance with project specifications.
- Lead and support a team of designers to produce, review, and finalize drawings and schedules.
- Maintain strong knowledge of codes, standards, and both onshore/offshore electrical design practices for oil and gas projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of Extensive experience in Electrical design and engineering for oil & gas and large industrial onshore/offshore projects.
- Experience with brownfield and asset services projects/contracts.
- Proficiency in performing design calculations
- Previous Qatar project exposure with knowledge of Shell DEP, QatarEnergy and other local regulations are highly desirable.
3. Lead Civil Structural Design Engineer
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge with Qatar with Codes & Standards
- Bachelor/ Master in structural Engineering with structural Engineering background from any reputed University.
- Minimum experience of 15 years in field Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and/or Refineries Industries shall be added advantage
- Experience in FEED or EPC Engineering design in Project Execution shall be added advantage
- Minimum Competent user of MSOffice , ETABS, SAFE, STAAD PRO, Foundation Design
4. Senior Telecom Design Engineer
Skills / Qualifications:-
- Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline (Electronics and Communication, Applied Electronics)
- Minimum 12 years Telecom experience in oil and gas projects (Offshore/Onshore).
- Experience in FEED, Detail design and EPC projects
- Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas
- Knowledge in CCTV, PAGA and Radio Coverage Study is preferred.
- Communication skill (excellent command on both spoken and written English)
- Computer skill (Microsoft Office)
5. Piping Designer
Required Skills:
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Piping or Petroleum Engineering from any reputed University.
- Minimum Experience of 5-10 years in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and/or Refineries Industries as a Piping designer
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software particularly Excel and word.
- Shall be familiar with international codes and standards such as API, ANSI and ASME
- Flexible attitude, team player, with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Required input and support to other disciplines such as Process, Civil, instrumentation, mechanical, electrical and HSE
- Proven experience in engineering design tools such as MicroStation / AutoCAD and Naviswork. Smartplant SP3D and AVEVA E3D experience will be the added advantage.
6. Lead Piping Design Engineer
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Piping, or Petroleum Engineering from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, and/or Refineries industries.
- Experience in Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Engineering Onshore/Offshore projects.
- Possesses a flexible attitude, is a team player, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Provides necessary input and support to other disciplines such as Process, Civil, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, and HSE etc.
- Participates in HSE sessions and design reviews, offering advice and expertise on engineering aspects.

7. Wet Utility Design Engineer
Bilfinger Tebodin is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Wet Utilities Engineer with more than 5 years of experience in the design of gravity-based system (wastewater). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure consultancy, preferably within Qatar and the wider GCC region, with proven experience in design development, hydraulic modeling, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum 5 years of relevant design experience.
- Proven experience with consultancy firms in the design of wastewater networks.
- Proficient in preparing design reports, hydraulic models, discharge calculations, and network planning.
- Hands-on experience in using SewerGEMS and other relevant hydraulic design software.
- Familiar with gravity systems, force mains, and pump station design, including coordination with mechanical, electrical, structural, and instrumentation teams.
- Capable of producing and reviewing detailed pipeline profiles, including gravity and pressure systems.
- Competent in performing clash detection/analysis and leading the resolution process during design development.
- Able to develop design alternatives and system optimization strategies to meet performance, cost, and sustainability objectives.
- Strong skills in design coordination, quality control, and compliance with client/authority specifications.
- Experience working with GCC authorities and familiarity with their standards, codes, and approval procedures, especially in Qatar.
- Proven ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and successful project outcomes.
- Previous project experience in Qatar, UAE, KSA, or other GCC countries.
- Understanding of local authority requirements (e.g., Ashghal, etc.).
