We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to support our sales and procurement activities for industrial materials and equipment within the Oil & Gas sector, with a focus on the GCC market.
The ideal candidate will assist in driving sales growth, managing client accounts, and supporting procurement operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective sourcing. You will work closely with senior management to implement strategies that align with our business goals in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Identify and follow up on new business leads and project opportunities.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Support procurement activities by liaising with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with key clients and vendors.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to support pricing and positioning.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure smooth order execution.
- Provide excellent customer service and post-sale support.
- Work with the Sales Manager and other departments on marketing and promotional initiatives.
Requirements

- Good negotiation and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Procurement
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Request, analyze, and compare supplier quotations; negotiate favorable terms (including last-minute discounts, lead times, and payment terms).
- Float inquiries based on sales team requests and issue purchase orders using FOCU software.
- Maintain accurate procurement records (pricing, delivery timelines, vendor performance).
- Monitor market trends to proactively identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong long-term supplier relationships.
- Maintain and regularly update the Approved Vendor List (AVL).

- Client & Sales Support
- Identify and engage potential and existing clients in Qatar.
- Provide technical and pricing support to sales for inventory-based quotations.

- Attend relevant exhibitions and events to expand NWH’s client and partner network.
- Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless procurement operations.
- Provide timely updates on purchase order status and required documentation.
- Submit competitive, technically accurate offers and participate in Management Review Meetings (MRM).
