1. Lifting Equipment Inspector

We are looking for a detail-oriented Lifting Inspector - CCU  to support day-to-day activities related to the rental, inspection, and maintenance of lifting equipment and Cargo Carrying Units (CCUs). The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of relevant international standards (DNV, ISO, BS-EN, etc.) and experience in coordinating with multiple teams to ensure seamless equipment operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Knowledge: Possess working knowledge of international standards related to lifting equipment and CCUs (DNV, ISO, BS-EN, etc.).
  • Client & Internal Coordination: Handle incoming calls and emails from clients, delivery teams, and drivers; provide prompt and accurate responses.
  • Data & Reporting: Update rental and maintenance trackers daily using company software; ensure accuracy and timely submission to principals.
  • Interdepartmental Communication: Liaise with foremen and other departments (Electrical, AC, QA/QC) to follow up on equipment status and ensure on-time completion of client requirements.
  • Inspection & Certification: Coordinate with third-party inspectors (TPI) to maintain valid lifting certificates per client and regulatory requirements.
  • Inbound/Outbound Inspections: Conduct or oversee inspections for all incoming and outgoing equipment to assess cleanliness and damage; update inspection records in the system.
  • Checklist & QA/QC Verification: Review pre-hire and post-hire checklists for containers, reefers, and other assets; coordinate with QA/QC for final verification.
  • Equipment Readiness: Ensure all CCU units are properly allocated, maintained, and ready for deployment for the next rental.
  • Documentation: Maintain all documentation in compliance with operational and QA/QC standards.
  • HSE Compliance: Promote and apply HSE best practices; ensure participation of all team members in safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be locally available in Qatar with a transferable visa (change of sponsorship).
  • 2–5 years of experience in equipment rental, lifting operations, or industrial services.
  • Familiarity with rental management systems, equipment tracking software, or ERP tools.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of QA/QC, HSE, and inspection processes.

2. Automotive Technician

The Automotive Technician is responsible for routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs of German-brand vehicles, using certified tools and procedures. Accurately identify faults, document work, and follow manufacturer guidelines to ensure high-quality, efficient results. Strong English communication and certified automotive training are essential.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic testing on vehicle components and systems using specialized equipment such as PIWIS testers, engine analyzers, compression gauges, and fuel pressure testers
  • Review work orders and discuss repair plans with supervisors to ensure clarity and accuracy
  • Complete detailed job cards, documenting all work performed and tests conducted
  • Accurately clock time against each work order for tracking and reporting purposes
  • Plan and execute repair procedures using technical manuals, manufacturer guidelines, and hands-on experience
  • Test and fine-tune repaired systems to meet OEM performance specifications
  • Rebuild engines in accordance with manufacturer standards and references
  • Disassemble mechanical units and inspect parts for wear using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Diagnose, repair, or replace major systems and components, including engine, transmission, suspension, and related assemblies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with German brand vehicles
  • Must be a certified candidate
  • Proficient in using automotive testing equipment
  • Clear communication skills in English – both verbal and written
  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive, proactive attitude
