Qualification And Skills

2. HSE Coordinator / Engineer - Offshore T&I and Hook-up
Qualification And Skills
- Strong background in offshore construction and installation HSE coordination.
- Certified in recognized HSE standards; capable of risk assessment facilitation.
- Skilled in incident investigation, safety training, and HSE documentation management.
- Medically fit to work in offshore environments.
3. Project Inspection Coordinator
Here below your responsibilities:
- Ensure execution of quality control activities on purchased goods and availability of relevant necessary documentation, in accordance with purchase order requirements/conditions and project procedures /contract, optimizing and minimizing costs.
- Ensure timely update of Company Information Tools/Systems (either directly or by Inspectors) with the most reliable and up to date information on quality control and inspection activities (i.e. Inspection Report, Inspection Release Note).
- Coordinate efficiently and efficaciously internal Inspectors and/or Inspection Agencies in order to reach project goals by means of cost effective and result oriented solutions according to Company network synergies, best practices and procedures.
- Review Project Quality Control requirements and all the contractual documentation in order to detect discrepancies and prevent any misunderstanding aiming to a supply chain management approach
- Support MM on issuance of Project QC procedures
- Contribute to finalize PMC and IDS
- Support MM on PO Inspection Classification
- Ensure (directly or through Internal Inspectors) specialist support to engineering department to vendor quality control documents review (ITP and Test Procedures)
- For each Project PO, ensure all necessary and suitable documentation (Inspection Assignment Package) is available to designated inspector prior Inspection activities starts
- With the support of the MM, plan/organize the PIM (if any), agree dates and venues with Vendors, ensure the presence at the meeting of all Sub-Vendors (if any), Saipem (requisitioning unit and designated inspector), Client and any third party personnel whose attendance is required.
- Ensure the correct Project inspection notification work flow with Client and/or Third Parties in accordance with contractual requirements and ensure all necessary and suitable documentation is available prior to confirmation of inspection notification.
- Check all inspection Report received from Inspector (Internal and External) and ensure the correct distribution / filing of it to system (SAP)
- After positive final test result, verify that all necessary condition are satisfactory and ensure timely issuance of Inspection Release Note in SAP
- In case of not satisfactory inspection, ensure the correct management of Non-Conformity Reports and Punch Lists
- Ensure the vendor Manufactured Data Book review and approval and ensure timely issuance of Final Test Certificate in SAP
- Ensure performances evaluation of external (Agency) inspectors by using I-PERF
4. Inspection Officer
As Inspection Officer, you will respond to the Department Manager and be part of Saipem Qatar within Procurement Department.
Here below your responsibilities:
- Ensure quality in the delivery of Goods and documents indicated in the Purchase Order and ensure the suitability of Goods, thus preventing extra costs, delays or other disruptions in the execution of projects, by promoting/suggesting any corrective actions that may be necessary during the production and/or assembly of the Goods
- Check the compliance of the supplies with contractual terms and technical and qualitative requirements defined during the design phase, through the inspection/tests and documents reviews
- Review Purchase Order and all the contractual documentation in order to detect discrepancies and prevent any misunderstanding that could potentially cause delays
- Ensure a supply chain management approach in order to timely identify and manage any potential cause of delay, and mitigate delays already detected
- Ensure specialist support to engineering department to vendor quality control documents review (ITP, NDT procedures, FAT procedures, etc.)
- Perform or supervise inspections and tests in compliance with Inspection and Test Plan (e.g., Electrical equipment and cable testing; Instrumentation equipment and bulk materials testing; Static equipment fabrication and materials testing; welding process)
- Ensure timely issuance of Inspection Reports
- Issue Non-Conformity Reports and Punch Lists in case of not satisfactory inspection
- Ensure the vendor Manufactured Data Book review and approval
- Issue vendor performance feedback as per Saipem Vendor Management process
5. Hook Up Assistant Superintendent
Tasks
- Report to the Hook-up SuperintendentAssist the Hook-up Superintendent with regard to interdisciplinary coordination of all works on green and brown field works
- Supervise the team of foremen and supervisors, with regard to the various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly work, in order to comply with the quality and safety standard
- Coordinate the construction activities during the shift and manage the SIMOPS with other contractors and/or plant operations
- Ensure that the Hook-up Superintendent is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status in conjunction with commissioning superintendent, plan and monitor vendors or any specialists activities at site
- Liaise with subcontractors' supervisors to optimize production
- Solve matters related to coordination, priority and interface among the different disciplines in order to meet the scopes of the project
- Ensure that the Permit-to-Work system for construction crew is adhered to and ensure that the daily Tool Box Talks and JSA, if required, are carried out according to the procedures
- Motivate all construction crew/subcontractors with regards to health, safety and environment awarenessEnsure the compliance with the standards dictated by Saipem QHSE policies and safety procedures, in order to perform the activities in a safe manner
- Report incidents and near-miss eventsManage the Crane operations, in close coordination with Hook-up Superintendent (Floatel, Jack up, Work Boat, Platform cranes)
- Manage project subcontractor work force to ensure timely execution of project schedule (scaffolding, painting/coating, vendors and so on)Assist marine operations and logistic, if required
- Provide a construction report at the end of each shift and prepare a clear handover of dutiesAssist the Hook-up Engineer in the follow up of project equipment and consumable, ensuring proper and time effective stocks of tools, equipment and consumables are arranged in line with project forecast workload
- Ensure the rigging gear used is within date and properly marked
- Knowledge about pressure testing, flange management and commissioning activities, as part of mechanical completion task
6. Offshore Methods Draftsman
What are we looking for?
- Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical/Civil (preferable) or other Engineering degree
- Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in Offshore Installation engineering Industry (including operation follow up / offshore & yard experiences)
- Languages: Proficient in English
- Technical Skills / Knowledge with:
- With particular reference (but not limited to) to shallow water activities (S-Lay / Jacket / Deck / Cables / Structures installation)
- EPC
- Offshore Transportation and Installation Experience
- Onshore / Offshore based
7. Offshore Methods / Installation Engineer
What are we looking for?
- Education
- Master’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (preferred)
- Other engineering disciplines may also be considered
- Experience
- Minimum 5-10 years in Installation Engineering, including:
- Offshore operations follow-up
- Offshore and yard-based project experience
- Language/s
- Proficient in English
- Software & Codes / Standard
- Strong experience in offshore transportation and installation (T&I)

8. System Completion Coordinator (Hexagon)
Tasks
- Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected
- Ensure the fulfillment of the project quality and contractual requirements
- Set up proper tools to control the progressive completion of construction and pre-commissioning activities
- Guide and monitor the field activities in an orderly manner according to commissioning priorities
- Plan walkthroughs with Client and disciplines involved, in accordance with systems completion priorities, in order to determine the required actions to be completed to achieve the mechanical completion
- Steer coordination meetings in a perspective of an overall optimization, in terms of system completion or alternative solutions to mitigate the inconveniences that might occur
- Ensure the gathering and management of completion punch lists, including both yes and no items.
- Ensure the preparation of the certificates dossiers required to achieve the mechanical completion, in accordance with contractual provisions
