1. Logistics Coordinator - Construction Site Ops (Engineer) (Outsourced)
The Logistics Coordinator would be responsible to facilitate Project Logistics Plan (PLP) for smooth and successful development of Lusail projects.
He should have good knowledge of TDP (Traffic Development Plan) and managing dewatering plan at the construction sites.
Job Responsibilities:
- Overseeing activities of contractor's logistics team and prepare daily report.
- Overseeing all logistics/ traffic management plan and support contractor for timely implementation, ongoing maintenance and safe operations.
- Monitoring and overseeing site storage & office facilities of contractor are in line with approved plan.
- Reviewing dewatering plan and providing adequate routing plan for the committee approval.
- Monitoring, facilitating and reporting timely resolution of all critical interphase issues.
- Reviewing issuance of online site entry application and building completion certificates.
- Responsible for reviewing technical submissions associated with logistics method statements, major movement of plant and machinery, site possessions while coordinating between all contractors.
- Overseeing and conducting all site visit requirements effectively in coordination with other departments.
- Overseeing operation of fleet contracts, site maintenance contracts and other related contracts by ensuring all terms and conditions are being followed.
- Coordinate stockpile material movement through issuance of mandatory gate passes and control measures.
- Conducting weekly logistics induction for onboarding new contractors, construction packages and developer personnel.
- Supervising and preparing reports on department owned contracts and implementing improvement to existing logistics systems and processes.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies while handling process, service entitlement verification and identifying problems and incident escalation.
2. Analyst - Investment ( Qatarization)
Job Requirements:
- The Analyst, Investment should have strong portfolio management, business operations and corporate governance understanding.
- He/ she should have exposure to feasibility studies, master development planning and market analysis with ability to develop financial models.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting in monitoring all QD subsidiaries, JVs and affiliated companies by reviewing their periodic performance reports (both financial and operational) against approved business plan.
- Participating in preparing performance dashboards, governance updates and variance analysis for senior management.
- Helping in identifying risks or performance gaps and share information with management.
- Supporting in asset disposal, exit and winding up processes through following due diligence, valuation and financial modelling activities, scenarios and sensitivity analysis.
- Summarizing key findings from market research, subsidiary performance and due diligence and preparing documentation and data rooms for internal teams and external advisors/ partners.
- Supporting in organizing working files, trackers and documentation for facilitating audits and ongoing portfolio monitoring and updating QD's investment strategy on timely basis.
3. Lead Landscape
Monitor and endorse the work of partner companies in the preparation of technical contract data, specifications, drawings, for infrastructure projects
Oversee quality and quantity of work of partner companies and contractors, and ensures compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements
Assist Project Head with time and cost management of construction projects
Job Responsibilities:
- External contractor management
- Manage contractors at the construction site to ensure seamless execution of project plan
- Ensure contractors deliver services within scope of work (cost, quality, time)
- Provide contractors with detailed project schedules so that they are aware of critical milestones
- Maintain and update project related documents, especially ones that are filled onsite
- Perform final handover to Asset Management department with documents
- Assists the Project Head to coordinate building or & infrastructure projects and manage partner companies
- Work closely with contractor to interpret and explain plans and specifications
- Enforce Qatari regulations/policies to contractors and liaises with the Project Head regarding possible changes to plans (variation, addendum, extension of time) and problem
- Monitor and endorses the work completed by the contractor on the development of the construction contract package (architectural, civil, electrical and mechanical aspects of technical design, drawings and specifications, engineering estimates and project budgets & job scheduling)
- Provide technical liaison to the Procurement & Contracts department as requested by the Project Head / Manager of Building/ Landscape etc. Projects during invitation, receipt & evaluation of bids, & contract finalization
- Ensure that damage, accidents, delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sites have been investigated appropriately by the contractor and that appropriate actions are taken to deal with the impact.
- Ensure that contractor and relevant comply with to Qatari building, fire, safety, handicap and environmental codes and regulations
- Inspect safety aspects of jobs in progress; encourages contractor to observe applicable safety rules and regulations
- Construction management activities
- Recommend changes to contract, collects data and makes recommendation to Project Head I Manager of Building/ Landscape etc. Projects on budget requirements, work progress, milestones achieved and recommend operational budgets, expenditure and provide technical advice to support evaluation of contractors' claims
- Manage project files - this will include as-built drawings, design data, project contracts, specifications and drawing submittals etc.
- Review logs and records of work performed in relation to construction management activities:
- Manage preparation of periodic and special reports as required
- Review accuracy of reports of contract work and other assigned activities
- Review progress, performance and completion of reports, purchase requests, requisitions, and reports of cl
- Assist the Project Head where required to approve payments &reimbursements in accordance with contract terms & conditions - payments &reimbursements will be forwarded to Controls Department for final payment
