1. Senior Piping Engineer

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Primary Objectives:

  • Ensures team member adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates. 
  • Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful. 
  • Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence. 
  • Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.
  • Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success. Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.

Job Specific Knowledge:

  • Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment.
  • Specialized expertise of the regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of onshore and offshore engineering practices applicable to topsides/plant layout and piping design for oil and gas facilities. 
  • Extensive current design experience is required in piping engineering, piping stress, pipe supports, topsides & onshore plant equipment layouts and detailed piping design, all gained with notable design contractors and/or oil/gas companies within the industry. 
  • Specialized expertise of piping materials to guide staff in the preparation of piping, valve and SP Item specifications and subsequently ensure purchase to required standards.
  • Ensure recognised onshore & offshore engineering practices applicable to piping design and topside/plant layout are adopted. 

2. Senior Piping Designer

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
  • Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.
  • Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence.
  • Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.
  • Deliver piping discipline specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Apply recognised onshore engineering practices applicable to piping design and topside/plant layout.
  • Read and understand technical drawings.
  • Able to prepare basic piping engineering drawings.
  • Able to perform detailed, advanced drafting autonomously.
  • Conversant with brownfield engineering principles and ability to incorporate them into design.
  • Selects most efficient design and layout with respect to and offshore / onshore engineering
  • Competent in the use of 2D & 3D software and developing skills in design software

3. Principal Piping Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment
  • A thorough knowledge of the regulations, codes and standards and a good understanding of onshore and offshore engineering practices applicable to topsides/plant layout and piping design for oil and gas facilities. 
  • Extensive current design experience is required in piping engineering, piping stress, pipe supports, topsides & onshore plant equipment layouts and detailed piping design, all gained with notable design contractors and/or oil/gas companies within the industry. 
  • Extensive knowledge of piping materials to guide staff in the preparation of piping, valve and SP Item specifications and subsequently ensure purchase to required standards.
  • Experience in brown fields & asset services type project / contracts.
  • Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its clients.
  • An excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the piping discipline, and the basic requirements of other disciplines.
  • An excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Competent in the use of relevant piping discipline specific software.

4. Senior Quality Specialist

The Senior Quality Engineer supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Program in alignment with customer requirements and the Worley Management System. This role is responsible for managing quality across assigned projects, including surveillance, audits, and ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with QMS and drive system improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare, implement, and update Project Quality Plans and supporting Quality Control Plans and procedures.
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits; manage corrective actions and close-outs.
  • Engage with customers to understand and meet quality expectations; build strong relationships with customer teams.
  • Establish, Monitor and report Project Quality KPIs, including leading and lagging indicators.
  • Lead the lessons learned program to foster continuous improvement across projects.
  • Ensure implementation of project-specific procedures and Worley Management System requirements.
  • Facilitate non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and lessons learned across teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address process gaps early and improve.
  • Apply sound quality management principles and drive system enhancements.
  • Understand onshore and offshore engineering practices and processes.
  • Deliver technically sound, accurate, and timely quality support to Worley and its customers.
