1. Shredder Plant Operator
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor shredding plant equipment, including conveyors, the shredder, and downstream systems.
- Supervise plant operations during start-up to ensure smooth material flow, coordinating with colleagues to prevent disruptions.
- Adjust shredder settings and input materials to maintain proper material size, quality, and production efficiency.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Clean the plant, lubricate bearings, and assist the maintenance team with necessary repairs.
- Complete production, maintenance, and inspection reports, and promptly report any issues or defects to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience as a mechanical/production line technician.
- Prior experience as a shredder operator in the metal recycling industry, or as a crusher operator in plant/mining operations, is preferred.
- Strong motivation to learn new skills and improve proficiency.
- Team-oriented, dependable, self-motivated, with effective communication skills.
- Solid mechanical aptitude.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as assigned.
2. Senior Accountant
Supervision responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Providing guidance and support to other departments on financial matters.
- Responsible to supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities. Establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.
- Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Administration responsibilities
- Managing the company''s financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts and other financial transactions.
- Collaborating with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing effective accounting procedures.
- Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Reconciliation of bank statement, making supplier payments.
- Maintain good business relationships with the counterparts in the vendors companies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technical responsibilities
- Conducting financial analysis and providing recommendations for improving financial performance.
- Ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Responsible for preparation of monthly profit & Loss account and Balance sheet.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
3. Instructor
Responsibilities:
- Provides appropriate, intellectually stimulating instruction in each class by taking into consideration the unique learning abilities of each student,
- Delivers training modules within training centre and on site.
- Ensures the training standards by the certifying bodies are being implemented, maintained and delivered,
- To assess the participants as per the standards set,
- To complete the relevant post training documentation and submit it to Training Admin / Training coordinator for processing of ID and certificates,
- Prepare and maintain Training records, monitor and follow schedules for onshore and offshore Training classes.
- Regularly evaluates the effectiveness of HSE training and develops appropriate training solutions/changes to ensure a high level of quality and competency.
- Performs other tasks as assigned/instructed by the Head of Training.
- Job Specific Education & Certification, Skills & Competencies and Experience:
- Education & Certification:
- Minimum has a Bachelor's Degree.
- Must be fluent in writing and speaking in the English and the Hindi language.
Skills & Competencies:
- Good communication skills (Verbal & Written)
- Computer Skills.
- Teaching Skills.
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil and Gas or Chemical Industry in the Safety Field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering Safety Training Courses
- Shall have a valid light duty driver's license for the State of Qatar.
