1. Construction Lead (HVAC)

We are seeking an experienced Construction Lead (HVAC) to support the Hook-Up & Commissioning (HUC) phase of the NFPS Project. The role provides HUC oversight to EPC contractors, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring HVAC systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in full compliance with QatarEnergy LNG standards, project specifications, and quality expectations.
The position requires strong offshore experience and close collaboration with EPC, facilities, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as HUC Lead (HVAC), overseeing HVAC hook-up and commissioning activities offshore.
  • Review and approve HVAC HUC documentation, test packs, procedures, and check sheets.
  • Provide technical oversight during HVAC commissioning, TAB activities, and performance testing.
  • Analyze technical proposals, deviations, and new technologies for compliance with QELNG policies.
  • Support EPC PMT through review meetings, workshops, FATs, shop inspections, and audits.
  • Monitor contractor manpower loading and recommend corrective actions where required.
  • Verify contractor progress reporting, ensure accurate reporting of completed work.
  • Apply lessons learned and promote continuous improvement across EPCs.
  • Support qualification of new suppliers not listed on the Approved Vendor List.
  • Participate in quality audits, report findings, and support closeout actions.
  • Ensure all activities comply with QatarEnergy LNG Standards of Business Conduct and PMS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences
  • Experience & Technical Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in large Oil & Gas construction projects
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role
  • Strong experience in HVAC Hook-Up & Commissioning for large EPC projects
  • Advanced knowledge of:
  • Testing & Balancing (TAB)
  • Fan & AHU performance testing
  • Refrigeration system commissioning
  • Room integrity testing
  • F-Gas regulations

2. Quality Lead – NFPS Project

We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead to support the North Field Production Sustainability (NFPS) Compression Projects, with a focus on offshore installation of jackets, topsides, and pipelines.
The role is responsible for implementing the Company’s Project Quality Management Program and ensuring effective application of the EPC Contractor’s Quality Management System during offshore execution. This is a high‑visibility, vessel‑based position requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a multicultural offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan and Contractor’s Project Quality Management System for offshore installation activities.
  • Execute the Construction Surveillance Program to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Review and approve ITPs, QC procedures, welding, testing, and inspection procedures from EPC Contractors and Subcontractors.
  • Provide quality oversight of welding and NDE activities, including:
  • Welding procedure and welder qualifications
  • Consumable control
  • Monitoring welding KPIs and implementing corrective actions
  • Manage Deficiency and NCR processes, ensuring timely investigation, resolution, and close‑out.
  • Coordinate and manage QE LNG‑approved Site Inspection Services (SIS) resources.
  • Conduct Flawless Quality and Welding Training Programs with Contractors to eliminate recurring defects.
  • Participate in meetings with EPC Contractors and Subcontractors to address quality issues and monitor progress.
  • Ensure quality records are maintained and aligned with the Completions Management System for seamless handover to commissioning.
  • Perform regular offshore walk‑throughs to identify quality and safety improvement opportunities.

3. Commissioning Lead (ICSS

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead – Integrated Control & Safety Systems (ICSS) to support the Hook‑Up & Commissioning (HUC) phase of the NFPS Projects.
The role provides technical leadership, oversight, and direction to EPC Contractors, Sub‑Contractors, and Vendors during offshore execution. The position requires strong interface management with HUC teams, Facilities, EPC, and Operations, ensuring all ICSS commissioning activities are executed in full compliance with QE LNG standards, design intent, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as ICSS Commissioning Lead during offshore Hook‑Up & Commissioning execution.
  • Provide ICSS technical expertise to EPC contractors for workshops, inspections, site testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Supervise review and approval of contractor procedures, method statements, test packs, and check sheets, ensuring accurate red‑line documentation across construction, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning phases.
  • Function as ICSS focal point for discipline site testing, witnessing tests and signing off documentation as per project requirements.
  • Review and assess technical proposals, deviations, exceptions, and redlines to ensure compliance with QELNG policies, procedures, and design intent.
  • Support change management processes related to HUC execution strategies.
  • Supervise and coordinate completions deliverables from EPC contractor, supporting readiness for asset handover to OESS / Operations.
  • Assess contractor manpower loading and provide recommendations, including backfilling critical needs where required.
  • Support project schedule adherence, including LLI procurement, engineered equipment procurement, ROS dates, and recovery plans for delays.
  • Verify EPC contractor progress reporting accuracy and commissioning status.
  • Participate in quality audits, report findings accurately, and support corrective action plans.
  • Apply and share lessons learned across EPC contractors and project teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences
  • Experience & Knowledge Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of Oil & Gas commissioning experience, including 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role
  • Strong experience in ICSS Hook‑Up & Commissioning on large EPC projects
  • Proven knowledge of:
  • Commissioning & systems completion processes
  • Completions walkdowns and Pre‑Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)
  • Design standards, specifications, codes, and safety requirements
