Waseef is seeking a Head of Collections in Qatar to lead and transform collections and receivables management, improve recovery performance, reduce overdue balances and strengthen cash-flow discipline across a diverse portfolio. 2. Job Description

This senior leadership role owns end-to-end collections strategy, receivables segmentation, complex account negotiation, escalation and legal-recovery governance, management reporting and team development.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end collections and receivables management function across the company portfolio.
• Develop and execute collection strategies to maximize recovery and improve cash flow.
• Establish collection targets, KPIs and clear accountability across the team.
• Segment receivables by risk, value, aging and customer profile and develop appropriate recovery strategies.
• Lead negotiations and resolution of high-value, complex and sensitive accounts.
• Establish escalation procedures from collection and negotiation through legal recovery.
• Review payment plans, settlements and restructuring proposals and provide recommendations.
• Strengthen credit-control processes to reduce future accumulation of overdue receivables.
• Develop executive collection dashboards, aging analysis, cash-flow forecasts and recovery reports.
• Introduce automation, analytics and technology to improve collection efficiency and visibility.
• Lead, coach and develop the collections team, establish a high-performance and accountability culture, and provide performance and risk reporting to senior management.
• Work closely with Finance, Property Management, Leasing, Operations, Commercial and Legal teams.

4. Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in collections, credit control or accounts receivable, including significant management responsibility.
• At least 4–5 years in a senior collections leadership role managing teams and substantial receivables portfolios.
• Strong understanding of credit control, receivables management, collection governance and legal escalation.
• Strong track record in real estate, property management, facilities management, asset management or other large-scale service environments.

5. Preferred Qualifications

• GCC experience is strongly preferred.
• Arabic and English proficiency is an advantage.
